I don't think so if there's a feature in illustrator converting jpeg file into vector. but maybe you can use pen tool and draw with the lines manually. i guess... :rolleyes:

If you are using Illustrator, click on your jpeg image or any pixel-based image and select "Live Trace" or "Image Trace"(I forgot what it's called XP.) from the Control Panel.

Hello guys,

For me, I am using vector magic. After the conversion, I load it up in the illustrator. And Presto my Images are all converted into vector. Try it, it would help you so much. :)

There is a feature in Illustrator for converting jpeg images to vector.
But the quality depends on the image you try to convert.
There is a feature called Image trace where you can trace the image and expand it into vector formats.
