To remove HTML tags do the following
1.Open your HTML document in a browser. Right click on the HTML file and select ‘open with’, then your browser.
2. Select the text you what to remove the HTML from and copy it. Don’t include any images in the copied text.
3. Paste your text to Notepad. Since Notepad doesn’t support formatting, it will automatically strip out all the HTML tags from your text.
4.Now copy the text from your Notepad and then paste it into any word processor you want . Or simply save as a .txt file. Keep in mind that you will have to reformat the text.

Open HTML Document in Browser:
Right-click on the HTML file you want to process.
Select "Open with" and choose your web browser.
Select Text and Copy:
Within the browser, select the text from the HTML document that you want to remove HTML tags from. Exclude any images or elements that you don't want to copy.
Paste Text to Notepad:
Open Notepad (a simple text editor).
Paste the copied text into Notepad. Notepad doesn't support formatting, so it will automatically remove HTML tags from the text.
Copy Cleaned Text from Notepad:
Select and copy the text from Notepad.
Paste into Word Processor or Save as .txt: Military Star Card
Paste the cleaned text into a word processor or any other text editor of your choice.
Alternatively, you can save the cleaned text as a .txt file.
