I have some knowledge of HTML/CSS and I'm learning JavaScript. So should I prefer Adobe muse over Dreamweaver?

If you are learning Javascript and already know some html/css, you are better off not using Muse and just keep using Dreamweaver. Muse is known for creating bad code, and it is not very good for search engine optimization.
Muse is fine for personal sites, but I wouldn't use it to develop company websites.

Steer clear of anything that creates code for you. Handwritten code is the only way to ensure quality.
If you're creating your own personal website and you have no alternative then that's fine, but it's completely unprofessional in my opinion (worse than using clipart for a logo!).

I tried it and it was fun. though not much use for me. It does some tricky codes easily but those are fun when handwritten.
Muse is fine for quick testing and prototyping if you want to make sure the UI/UX is satisfactory. But handwritten code is much more efficient in this day and age
