We designers put all our effort into submitting a entry to the CH.
All we want is a feedback / rating for the same, whether its in favour or against.
In favour than good or against than atleast we designers come to know where are going wrong.
But have saw it in major contest where CH doesn't give any feedback/ratings on any logos. And one day the contest gets over.
It's really frustrating.

I have seen in some other contest sites where in they give fix time period to the CH to choice top and eliminate others and than the chosen ones submit there and than the design is chosen.
I dont's say DC to follow that, all i wish that DC's point out this to the CH that regular feedback/rating has to be done.
That will keep the designers motivated i think rather than keeping them on foot without not knowing anything what CH like..

thanks.

I just assume they don't like it so I either try to think of a new design or move on to a different contest. No big deal, considering there are so many to choose from without any real commitment (unless of course they pick your design, lol). Personally, I would comment on everyone's designs and thank them for their efforts, but I don't blame the CHs for not taking the time.

In my opinion, this design contest is based on CH point of view. I think the "brief" should be enough to inform the designer about what the CH want on the design. If they didn't give any feedback/rating it's mean that "your design is okay" but it is not qualified enough to be rated (just positive thinking).

I agree with you... When ones design is rated (if low) it motivates u to design another and another and another with fantastic concepts... But when ones design is not rated, its like being in the dark (no feedback or comment) and discourages MOST designers to design more to that contest...

Well, i feel we cant blame CH... DC should try reminding them that the comments and rating of entries would be a great assitance in getting the best of designs...

You can always ask for feedback in the comment section..I never have but I've seen it done...when a CH doesn't leave feedback I just assume they are unaware of the work that is put into some of these designs. or perhaps there wasn't a 0 on the feedback button?

Should we get mad? well personally yes I get mad, eliminated with no feedback, but it was long time ago when I was in beginning phase of entering project in design contest. But now who care? Contest prize is pretty much like lottery anyway? do you mad when you loose lottery? If they does not provide any feedback it means they simply not interested in your proposal but they do not know what to do,

The other way is choosing project carefully, the other word, you choose which client who worth your time designing.
