publiance.com - flash website in progress

Since the company is involved into a number of activities and most of them should have been represented on the website, but there was not much text provided, I decided to make a sort of illustration with objects representing each activity. Just like the TV screen and Wii game console represents video game association, the color table and the printer represents publishing, the main computer is the "home page".
Though there is still a lot of work to be done adding little animations, the illustration itself is pretty much finished and will stay the same.
Any comments and ideas will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I really like the concept. Taking the "website" to a different level. I dig it. Please post your progress!

How did you do the perspective? What technique?

Rinaldidesigns, no, I don't have to use it. I might play with different color of the light. Yellow kind of hurts my eyes too
Adambender, there's no particular technique. I made a drawing with pencil on paper first of all to see for myself how it works together (it's kind of easier to work with preparatory sketches on large scale works) and also to show it to the client. When the sketch was approved I started to redraw it in vector.
As for perspective itself, there are certain rules of course, but nothing too complicated. I would recommend this book - it explains the basic rules of perspective for artists in a very simple and easy to understand manner. And it is very unexpensive too.

Thanks for the book reference. Looks great. I'll definitely have a look at it.

This is something amazing..
Can you please tell me what time exactely it took to sketch it on paper ? I know once the things are on paper then finalisation it to vector is another hard task, but still i want to know that how much time it took you to put it on the paper from your thinking.
regards

The paper sketch didn't take a long time actually, only about an hour. When you have a clear idea of what you are going to do, it doesn't take much time.
It is the work in vector that is time consuming indeed. Took at least 8 hours to draw this image. But maybe you could do it faster, I don't know.
