This is the word that has been outlined.Attached File  HAMMOCKS-Take a hammock and relax-01.jpg   22.51KB   24 downloads

But when I scale them to smaller size, it became somehow distorted.

In Illustrator, select the word, go to the Object menu, select Expand, make sure Object and Fill are checked, then ok. This will make it all one object, so the stroke and fill will scale together. **DANGER** You will not be able to edit the text with the text tool once you have expanded it. Also, using the shift key when you scale from a corner will keep the proportions the same. Let me know if that doesn't help. Good luck!

I already set everything to expand. Then, the actual problem was that I just need to uncheck the align to pixel grid in the transform tool box. I got the problem solved. Thanks for helping pbasset!

I had the same problem a while back. Just make sure you always remember to uncheck the align to pixel grid box in the specs secition when creating a new document in the future! It can be so frustrating to get half way through a project and realize you've left it on and already started designing!
