Hiya,

 

I just wrote a "One-on-one" comment in this contest:

Yet, when I logged off just to check if everything is ok I could still see my comment. Does everyone else see it?

 

EDIT:

 

The comment that is supposed to be seen only by me and the CH is the one I wrote to him about the "One-on-one" messages. When I log off I can still see the comment in the comments tab. The background of the one-on-one messages is a bit darker. When I click on the logo though and check the comments on the right - the one-on-one message doesn't appear there.

Hi, I was wondering if DC can put an option on the contest pages so we can withdraw our designs directly from the contests, especially when the contests were finalized.

 

Right now I have to go to my own design pages to find the very one I want to withdraw. That can be very troublesome when the contests were finalized after a long period of time.  :)

Hi there. You are able to do this in closed contests. Withdrawal is under your /designer/mydesigns/ menu only for contests which are not closed:

Contest will expire in 2 hours "{contest-title}"

 

This appears as the subject line in emails from DC concerning expiring contests.

That is, the field name and not the field content show up.

Is there an option that I choose which entry from a contest to show in my public portfolio and maybe more than one? And for me to add them manualy?

For now it shows I think randomly or my first entry from a contest. :confused: I can only remove it and then it shows no designs from this contest :(

 

And is it possible to receive email notifications for contest invitations?

 

Profiles are in progress right now, with many cool and interesting features for you, guys  :o

Thank you, Oleksandrm. I've found the function. 

Forgive me if this sounds like I'm asking too much. :) 

I found it takes a lot of work and time to withdraw all my designs (when there were a lot) in one contest. After I withdrawn  a design, i was sent back to the top. Then I have to go through again all the designs to find the second one to withdraw. You can imagine how exhausting it will be if I have a dozen of designs in that contest.

So my suggestion is  to put an option for withdraw on the "only me" page. 

Just a thought anyway. Thank you for your time and effort.  :)

Hi Oleksandrm and others,

Need help here as soon as possible.

My comments in a currently open contest have suddenly disappeared without any notice. I wasn't begging for feedback at all and I didn't get any warning whatsoever. The weird part is that only the 1st few comments I made are still there (total of 5 only) and all newer ones (all just to describe my designs) are gone now. The worst part is that I'm getting notifications about my comments being replied to but I'm unable to see any of those replies.

Can you help me out? Is the website still updating and possibly causing comment glitches?

UPDATE
I've also sent the same message through the contact form but my ticket link does not show me anything but the knowledgebase page so that's why I'm sending this repeat message straight to you.
I could not find any way to send a PM so I have sent it through the "Chat with the Mods" area but even that post had somehow disappeared. Please help out, I don't know what's happening here.
 
Also I have just received some new replies during the last hour and 1 of them didn't even appear on my comments area. Luckily for me at least that reply was sent to the email so I didn't miss out on that one but as for the rest I had to request the CH to resend and I still don't know whether they will go through or not.

@Oleksdm delete button for the entries doesn't work in profiles. I am getting response that entry deleted/undo. But after page reload entries are still there.

Hi! Nice that you have changed the message when a CH invites you to a contest :).  Also it would be nice if those contests don't show up in our finalization contests list.

 

And the last thing, I don't know if someone brought this into discussion, but I just saw it. When a contest is close, the message on top with "....received 65 designs from 30 pre-qualified designers" displays the number of all invited designers and I think all that followed the contest, and not the number of those who actually joined the contest. I've noticed this, because some of them are very discrepant, there are one, or two or three designers that had joined and the message shows 90 designers or something...

New contest ratings notification is a bit annoying. For example, I receive e-mail notification with high rate design, when I log in to see it, it's eliminated.

When I mouse-over my designs(or the #_ of the designs in contest), the pop-up/preview of my design is very soft/blurry. I am uploading per DC rules and when I click on my design to see it full-size it is neither soft/blurry. I have contacted tech support with their only advice being to make sure I'm uploading the properly sized file (I am). I am concerned this is causing issues for others viewing my designs and that they will think they are blurred/soft in the original vs. it being a site issue. Please help.
