ABOUT INFRACTION

HI DEAR SHARIE..I GOT AN INFRACTION ON THE CONTEST IMI COACHING..I DID NOT VIOLET ANY RULES OR COPIED FROM SAJID'S WORK FOR THE REASON THAT THERES AN IMAGE TO BE DEVELOPED AS SHOWN IN THE BRIEF..I'M REALLY WONDERING WHY IM BEING INFRACTED...IT THAT IS SO ONLY SAJID CAN DO THE RENOVATION OF THE IMAGE WHERE IN FACT IS FOR ALL

your infraction was removed right after it happened and entry was put back in the contest

hi Sharie, why sir babba giving me an infraction points by using mock.up? just a mock.up, i read the rules of DesignContest. " You may use backgrounds and mockups in logo design contests". because some of contest holder they want to see if it ok. i thought is ok using any background for mock.up purposes. Ex: "https://www.designco...any-realty-inc/. many of designers are using this mock.up for this contest. i think this is not fair for me. any response for the admin are greatly appreciated. thank you

That was not the mock up at all. It was full stationary or business card design.

That is not allowed. Designers are thinking that will attract clients if they do extra. It is not fair to other designers. 

Regarding the Moore contest, CH requested that and admins approved it. Your design with the stationary there was not removed, and you are well aware of that. 

thanks for the reply. is this a new rules? i didn't see were can i find this rules. im using this mock.up not for the second thought. im just make my own mock.up style.

why you didn't sending me a warning note? because i really dont know that this kind of mock.up are not allowed for the logo category. in sort im not aware of this since i was joinning in designcontest. i really really sorry about my mistake. thank you so much for the info. can i send agin those design without mock.up? please

This is not a new rule. You have designer career long enough to know difference between mock up and stationary design (or other design) preview. 

Mock up is allowed, and that includes your logo on certain medium... paper for example. That doesn't mean you will do a whole business card design.

Some designers think that will attract clients, which is not fair to other designers, but most important - it usually doesn't go with the logo prize.

Why would you make extra job only paid for the logo?!

Further on, sometimes client misunderstand such actions and expect to receive those files with the package, and that can be trouble for every party involved. 

Yes, you can put your logo on t-shirt or on cap as mock up. 

hi sharie good day I receive infraction ...of "royal crawl" because of copying design of iridith....and i dont he infract me because im the first designer to submit a square shape design and the reason he give me infraction because of copying his design....but im the first to submit that design so meaning...im not copying his design(sqaure shape).and there is other designer submit "square shape".i think this not fair for me. any response for the admin are greatly appreciated. thank you

the reason was, my designs #82 and #134 are similar to #40 which is the entry of @Babba, one of the moderator here. The infraction happened after the CH commented on my design #134 saying my design is excellent and he like it. And if you are going to review that contest, almost everyone submit designs similar to my design #83 and I am not reporting them because Babba is there and I'm waiting for him to make a move. I think it is not fair to delete my designs without even discussing it in forum because I think my designs are different from Babba's. God bless ya'll.

It doesn't even matter when I made report, but the fact you copied me or you did have a time withdraw your design. But if you eager to know, I reported them before you got rated. 

Another fact is - I got high rates too for the same design! 

Further on, I do not care if you do not report others for copy, that is up to you!

Regarding your design #83, the negative space and number 2 is not your idea!

patoy12,hi dear sharie i"ve been infracted reported by punkscratch...its not a copy because i've been using different font with different idea using a smile symbol..i used also a star with balls coz its been stated at the brief and i dont think its a violation...im hoping for your consideration...https://www.designco...ryware/entries/

hi ms sharie good day to you .... I received infraction of catered bowl logo contest https://www.designco...-bowl/comments/   and the previous comment of the CH she/he want a paw print incorporate to the bowl ....that is why i have combined the paw print and bowl and I dont know why i received infraction because my design is original ... and its different to the CH request to other designer....and its original to other entries. this is a new rule? because this is unfair. any response for the admin are greatly appreciated. thank you

Joanick, client never asked you to do that, but other designer. You can not take CH's comments referred to other designer and implement into yours work. 

thank you for replying sir baba...the file attached is my design ..I think is different of what CH request to other designer because in my design I make the whole bowl into a paw print...while the CH request of the other designer is only the back portion of the bowl.. what do you think sir? thank you and God bless
