Working on this site for my friends business. Mostly he does weddings and such so thats why the theme but ideas are certainly welcome.

Its really nice. It has a very calm feel to it. I really like the style that indicates -- very clearly -- the theme of weddings. You might want to play around with the choice of texture for the header background.

I think the glow arounf the text should be dark, like a shadow...the contrast will bring out the text more. Other than that, I like it...simple and easy to navigate.

It's nice and simple, that's for sure! No need to junk it up. I wonder about the colors and styling. The flair around the text and the grey background in the header might be a little old-fashioned. Check out some wedding invitation websites (or sites like Martha Stewart weddings / brides / the knot) if you want ideas for more modern colors and styles. Using the "hot colors" of the season (like mocha/aqua; mocha/lavender) might give a more professional impression; like your client really gets what brides/grooms are looking for. Other than that, it's elegant and clean.

i would add some gold to your design, like glows and stuff.
