Can't get contests to load?

I've never had this problem before, but when I click a contest link from the browse all contests menu, I get the dc loading circle of death. I can't view briefs, entries, etc. It's just a gray background with a loading logo. I've waited hours for it to load and nothing works. How can I fix this?

Thank you, Sharie. I actually got it to work by turning off my anti-virus web browsing software, but I will also clear my history and cookies.
