i like to convert the text to curve first.. it looks smoother/sharper.. and more aligned... especially when effects/script applied to the fonts.. :)

l always import the images as bmp.

However l got an issue too with corel, for example l make the paper size 400x300px but when l export it it comes smaller like 254x156px. Any suggestions ? :)

When i export in corel, i allways put the image/object in a rectangle adjusted to size i want to export and in export option i put Selected only. Then in the second screen i can see/adjust the size/resolution/aspect ratio etc..

Yeah, I did notice it. Anyone knows how to get rid of it?

same here.
couldn't find a way to do something like that in illustrator,
because it offers just resolution depth.

Export it as a .png it comes out much cleaner that way.

:) it does, it's because of "antialiasing", you can export without that option, or else, you must open (not import) the exported file with a raster soft (paintshop pro, photoshop etc..) and retouch a little

hard to understand, but ... versions below 13, have some issues on exporting. you should try to double export (export it once with the settings you need, and than again with the same settings). do not forget about the resolution, make it higher if it's not good. why are you exporting the file as picture and not print directly from corel?
