How to disable auto-addition of logo designs on portfolio ?

Sorry for opening another topic so soon, but it's a different matter than the other one.

Is there a way to disable automatic addition of designs on portfolio ? I would like to know this because I only want to show the winning / selected ones.

I'm asking about this also because I think there is an error in the coding, when I delete all the non-winning logos (or just the ones which are added automatically) the numbers below the portfolio name say 

... I don't know but this makes it look like I'm cheating or incorrect, so maybe it's an error of coding ?
