Oh noooo for god's sake...!!! xD

Personally i can't stand Corel ... it's not against the application itself, but always got problems with this kind of files, seems like the corel users have special ability for building up artwork the wrong ways...

That's only in MY personal experiencie ... no mean to offend!

Nice! good for them! i don't think i'm going to upgrade to X4 anyway. :D

I am a corel draw12 user. but as of now, i am trying to get familiar with Illustrator and InDesign... Its not practical for me to have a windows OS in my mac having only 1 application running.

however, i'm thinking of getting Autocad just to justify not to remove my windows. hehehe

Yeah, I´m mac user too... and only got as far as Corel 11 for it. I always get mad when I receive Corel 12 o 13 files from customers... hehe, on one hand because I can´t stand Corel, and on the other nad because I have to use a virtual machine to run Corel X3 on WinXP...

none taken...lol

personally I LOVE Corel, it's the program I first learned to do vectors on and it's the one I'm most comfortable with...

I think you should at least give the new one a try before condemning it, I'm on X3 now but I'll be upgrading veeeery soon!! :D

I've got X4 for about 10-15 days now and it doesn't seem to be much better than X3. In fact, to me it looks like the same software in a new (slightly better) interface. I wouldn't recommend spending on the upgrade; get the trial first.

I stopped at 11, too. Didn't even know that X4 exists...I will have to go and start reading about it. Thanks for the tip.

Corel is great, it gives you so many option in quite good management of layers and shapes (vectors0 so you dont have to manage them extra in the layer menu, but you do that directly on the working area.
Nevertheless it is it is up to how you have begun with it or used to it.
