What happens after a guaranteed prize contest expires?

Hi, I was wondering what happens when a contest with a guaranteed prize expires. I participated in one that has expired 6 months ago and no winner was selected. Is this normal?

Yes, it happens for various reasons that client has, private or business reasons.

DC has to wait a lot more if the client comes back sending them notifications meanwhile. If client doesn't respond it goes for voting for price splitting among 3 voted designs/designers. Sometimes it even pass more than a year to get to that stage. Only eligible designers can be voted out. See example here: https://www.designco...igner-vote.html

If you are not happy with waiting and want to use your design somewhere else, you can always withdraw design and reuse it.
