I think this a stupid question but can anyone tell me Do i have to make the logos for the contest always i vector ?? AI or something ?

Yes, all logos for contests must be vector. That is one of our rules. You also cannot participate in contests until you are a design team member. You can find more information about that looking around the forum, and by following the "Join the Design Team" link on the front page.

The 3 programs that create vector that come to my mind quickly are AI, Flash and CorelDraw. I am sure there are more, but those are the ones I think of immediately.
You MUST be an Elite Designer to enter the contests. Please go to www.designcontest.net and follow the link that says "Love to Design" to get more information and the requirements for joining. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.
