Played around a bit in photoshop yesterday evening after watching a tv-documentary about an old newspaper... my mind wandered around and out came this retro-style thing...

Thank you, thank you... :)

It looks a bit better in natural size. I will try to upload the original to my website tomorrow.

the colors are excellent, however I am not a great fan of the shadow drop in. I would try some light stain to frame the card.

nice work. I like the colors and shapes, and typeface. What about the width? If this is a business card, the dimension are a bit strange. It couldn't fit in a wallet to well. Looks really good

Like the style. Swiss style design. Strong contrast. Nice. But what is it ? A banner, logo, web site header ?

Thanks everyone for the kind words... I just played around and had no real thought about what it should be... and yes arcticsnpr the dimensions are all wrong unfortunatly... original is sized 1280x1024 (kinda wallpapersize)... but I'm really thinking of turning it to a business card front... with all info on a backside. Haven't yet had any time to try the "light stain" thing yet... busy weekend...

I like the Bauhaus feel but prefer the type in your logo to the condensed type on the card. The condensed face looks a bit more like it's under pressure while the rounded letters are more relaxed. Works better, I think also with the circle motif on the lower left. I know you have limited space but try it - even if you need smaller text.

You should go for recycled without bleaching paper or those brownish ones you don't need to print the look of the paper just your design. Also means less cost because those paper are recycles without bleaching and cost less.

Diggin' the sharp edges and bold colors. Interesting how the left side consists of round circles and red is the dominant color while on the right, square edges, straight lines, and black are most prominent.
