Although I'm aware that most designers are using Adobe or Corel products for their designs, I'm curious to see if anyone is using an alternate program for their vector work?

I used to use Inkscape and Synfig for vector animation, used MYpaint for digital painting. Mypaint to me is still more easier than Corel or Photoshop. But when I read the rules here, I preferred Ai just to be sure.

Xara makes a decent program called "Designer". It's the same company that came out with Xara3d, which was really popular 4 or 5 years ago. Designer isn't free like Inkscape, but it's a good and very fast program www.xara.com/us/products/designer

I find Inkscape can pretty much do everything I want. I have Adobe Illustrator on one of my machines and I never use it. I'm a Linux man so until Adobe makes a Linux version of Illustrator that is heads and shoulders above Inkscape, I'm not going to pay big money for it. The only reason I have Illustrator is because it was already on the computer with CS4 when I bought it.

Though it is a very old post, I still like to share my experience.
I use EximiousSoft Logo Designer and EximiousSoft Banner Designer to deal with vector graphics.
I use https://www.eximious...go-designer.htm
