Project description

We have created a plastic litter box enclosure and are looking for designs for stickers to be placed around the box. We DO NOT want a sticker sheet to cover the entire sides. We will offer one sheet to consumers to peel the stickers and place anywhere they want on the box. See attached example. Designs should be in EACH of these 2 categories - Feminine (Ex: floral) - Gender neutral ( Ex: geometric) Designs may or may not need to include illustrations with cats as we already have one. The full color stickers will be offered on one sheet and die cut into shapes to allow the consumer to peel and place them on the two side and the front face. The consumer will have the freedom to place the stickers where ever. The sheet should be 16" high x 20" wide. The shapes should be arranged to fit on one sheet. If a sheet longer than 20" is needed, it should be noted See attached example with flower petals. Though we have rejected the design we provided it to show the sheet of stickers and how they can be applied to the box. The sticker designs you come up with should fit on 1 sheet have enough stickers to be places around the box. I expect the box to show though. While we want to see how the stickers may look on the box, the sheet of stickers, with a red bleed, is the final deliverable. There should not be any design taller than 16" nor cover the entire face of the box. The white plastic can show through. The dimensions of the box is 16" wide x 16.75" high x 19" deep. Please use the attached picture "designcontestsample.jpg" to use as a mock up of how your design would look on the box. The finalize deliverable should be an editable .pdf or .ai of the design on one sheet. It should include a red line of the cuts as well as a bleed.

Comments

  • is the design is for whole side or it depends on us like it is small or big
  • It should not cover the whole side. Placement is up to consumer, however, a recommendation can be made based on the design. Can be big and or small designs
  • No branding on the carton neeeded. 1/8" bleed
  • Few Questions 1: Are you wanting the floral / gender neutral design to have you name in it somewhere. OR is it just a design that can go on the box that would make the litter box not just a box sitting there. 2: What is the bleed size need to be. I can add that in but just need to have the bleed spacing so I can plan it out right.
  • Dear CH, Please extend the contest one more day. I can work for this project tonight. I have some great ideas. You can see some of my works in your other contest. Thank you.

      |--| Extended

  • I attached an example of what I'm looking for. Multiple designs on one sheet.
  • Acorsys its Extended
  • While we like your designs, they do not follow the brief. Your designs cover the entire face. We need 1 sheet of stickers to be peeled and placed around the box. Please carefully reread the brief.
    • Ok sir thanks for feedback i will try new design & agin read the breaf

    • We like your design #5. Can you redesign it so there are individual sticks that can be peeled and placed around the box? Maybe try two versions, one all pink and another mixing in 2-3 colors.

  • A bit to harsh
  • We like the overall idea, though the placement on the box could be changed. Can you submit more ideas? We're going to buy more than one
  • Love it. Though the stickers wouldn't be able to be cut off like you have it next to the opening. Keep it coming with your ideas. We're willing to pay for more than one design.
  • pls review my entry #8 any comment will be appreciated and can give us what kind of design you prefer like what kind of flower you or geometric shape and my work had bleeds and the sheet size is what you prefer tnx and best regards

      |--| Hi, I can't give specifics of what we are looking for other than it has to look visually appealing. What would you want to see in your home?

  • Pack in more stickers onto 1 sheet. Show how 1 sheet can be laid out on the box.
  • Note, the stickers with the trailing dots would have to be on a white background unless they connect. Do you think this design will look good with the dots on a white background. The background and the box will be white but certainly won't match
    • I was under the impression the stickers could be printed on transparent vinyl. For instance, like vinyl wall art decals are printed. If they are, the trailing dots wouldn't be an issue. If you are printing on white, then it probably wouldn't look the best, but I think that is the case with any sticker designs, because there will be a white die-cut border on all the elements and it might look, well kind of cheap.

    • There would be a bleed so there wouldn't be a white border. Vinyl is too expensive to produce.

    • I wanted to respond to you regarding the Litter Box design but I couldn't since it's now closed. I did ask them to change the deadline to this morning however it was never done. I had a back up design ready in case I couldn't get the files for a winning design in time. Very unfortunate.

    • I appreciate your explanation. Maybe next time! Thanks again.

  • Regarding my entries, #29 and #30, I decided to make a stylized upscale cat house that a boy or girl cat would enjoy. I hope you like. Thanks, Mara
  • Like your style. However this design wouldn't work for us. 1) we have a design with flowers and butterflies already. 2) Not crazy about the red and black Think what you may want to see in your home. Modern, classy, interesting.

      |--| Thanks for your feedback. I would actually love this design in my own home. I'm trying to pick color combinations that are trendy, but classic, and can work well with a variety of interior decor.

    • I'll bounce this design off some customers, but I'd like to see your other ideas keeping with the concept of stylish, both in color and design.

  • Cute, but we're looking for patterns. Sorry.
  • Did you plan on having the stickers printed on transparent adhesive backgrounds so that you can overlap shapes, like in my designs #14-#17 ?
  • While I'm not crazy about the color scheme, I like how you maximized the use of stickers embedding small ones into larger ones.
    • Thank you, I have tried used the sticker to the maximum. If You not crazy about the color scheme I can change the color if needed.

    • please do

    • About #55 I changed the color as you asked me. I can do more kinds of colors

  • like the embedded stickers. not crazy about the stars or colors
