Project description

For our new website we need four 3D server vector illustrations. We have a slider across the main header of our website displaying various website hosting packages starting with the smallest (shared hosting) and going to the largest (dedicated servers). We are looking for four images, all will be the same size, roughly the same size as the top image shown on http://graphicriver.net/item/hosting-servers/301043?WT.ac=search_thumb&WT.seg_1=search_thumb&WT.z_author=machella Here's what we have in mind: Image 1: One large server, split into multiple smaller servers, i.e 20 different servers Image 2: One large server, split into around 10 smaller servers Image 3: One large server, split into around 5 smaller servers Image 4: One large server only If required our logo can be found at http://ezpzhosting.co.uk/newlogo.jpg

  • I'd prefer a rack mount type server rather than a tower server but you're free to use any colours. If the concept is correct the colour can be fine tuned.
  • Hi Daniel, I was wondering if you had a preference of the type of server you would like portrayed (referring to the shape and colour). Thank-you
  • Hello again, I just have another question: what type of file are you looking to receive once a design is finalized? (Photoshop, Illustrator, png/jpeg, etc). Thank-you
  • That's certainly along the right lines. It would be placed on a white background on our website, can you change the background so I can see how it looks? The only thing I'm unsure about are the rounded corners on the servers. The radius may need to be reduced or removed. Thanks!
  • Hi Daniel, I've submitted design #1 to check if this is a concept/look&feel you would like to continue on with. There's still some details and adjustments that will be implemented. Thanks.
  • jpeg with the source file is fine
  • I've submitted #6, which shows the complimenting images that go with #5. They represent the 4 images as described in the brief. I wasn't sure if you had any other suggestions or requests. Barring any smaller details, these are essentially finished. Let me know your thoughts Thanks again
  • Here's the logo in .eps format: http://ezpzhosting.co.uk/ezpz_logo_design.eps
  • Thank-you again for the feedback. I've changed the inside radius to match the outside in submission #5, and added some more detail. I was also wondering if by chance you have ezpz hosting's logo in .eps or vector format
  • Much better! Can we make the inside radius the same as the outside?
  • Thank-you for the feedback. I've submitted #4 (without all the detail) to check with you if the corner radius is to your liking. Thanks
  • The idea is there but it looks a bit basic and cartoony
  • Can we try making the rounded corners a little less round? Can the make the silver plate on the blue one thinner? Thanks!
  • I figured it'd help if we post the new website design so you can see the look we're going for: http://new.ezpzhosting.co.uk/homepage.html The images designed here would replace the black server and speedo image shown in the rotator. This should give you an idea on the quality and design we're going for.
  • Sure— #2 on a white background. Not a problem; let me know about the corners and if they need to be changed.
  • I should point out, if it's a matter of getting the colours just right, we would have another week to adjust it to your liking. I went with a blue tint for the glass since it parallels the website's colour scheme; if you would like to see some different variants just let me know
  • I've modified the glass with 4 different variations of blue tints
  • Oh ok, I see what you mean. I'll make some modifications.
  • Yeah, I'm unsure about the purple glass
  • Just for clarification, are you referring to the designs shown in #6 specifically not fitting well?
