Winning design #20 by HappyGD, Icon Design for Men's Undergarment Computer Image Contest

Project description

I am just needing a computer graphic of a basic men's undergarment with my logo appearing on the waistband. I have attached a copy of the short that I want reproduced with a pic of my logo. Again I just want my logo illustrated onto the waistband of the short shown.

  • I'm not 100% sure how visible the mesh fabric is supposed to look on the garment; is #15 close to what you're looking for?
    • Excellent!!! I have attached one more final photo of the garment. I had forgot to mention that the logo is also on the lower section of the left leg. If you could just place that into the image that would be great!!! I'll also post a file of the image.

    • Great! A preview with the new updates will be uploaded soon

  • hi ch. shawn i have submetted design #16, #17 i hope you will like my work thanks best regards babar786
  • #13 has all the new updates: increased background size + the pouch texture mimics the leg portion. #14 I added a little more of the background beneath the undergarment to make everything a bit more balanced
    • Looks Great!! Exactly what I was wanting. Last question. The darker black panel in the left and right section of the groin are actually a mesh type fabric in the actual garment. Any chance you could show a little texturing or pattern that might mimic a mesh/breathable fabric? If not it is very good as is. Thanks again!!!

    • Great! Glad the design is what you were looking for! Sure I'll see what I can put together for a mesh fabric. I should be able to complete this tonight

  • #6, #7, #8 look great! Could you just increase the area of color on the background of each? Just a larger area of background color. Thanks!
    • Thanks! Not a problem, something similar to #9 | #10 | #11? Or something closer to #12 for each color?

    • Looks good. Can you just increase the background a little more? especially on the top part. Also the front of your design in the pouch area seems to appear to have a textured look. Can it me made to appear more smooth like the bottom section of the legs portion?

    • Sure! I will upload a new preview shortly with the changes

  • Hello, I have submitted #3. (A slight adjustment was made in #4. And #5 is showing different backgrounds). It is a digital illustration based on the photo you provided. It is high-resolution quality so if you want it can also be used in print publications. I was able to use the logo you provided, but yes if you have a vector version available I can swap it in. Thanks.

      |--| I really like the #5 with different backgrounds. Can you possibly create just three backgrounds with a grey, red and blue background to match the colors in our logo? A very transparent background would be preferred perhaps in a cloud like shape not defined borders. Thanks!!!

    • Sure! I hope I interpreted your comment correctly with #6, #7, & #8. If not let me know and I'll make the corrections Thanks

  • I just added a bitmap and ai file of our logo to the contest hopefully this will help. Thank to everyone for your excellent submissions.
  • Hello, I was wondering if it would be possible to provide a vector/eps version of your logo. Thanks!
    • I like your submission. Let me see what I have in a vector/eps file. Thanks.

  • Hi, I submitted #2 I found your logo on the internet which was a better quality than the one you supplied and I applied that to the shorts. Any feedback is great, and any adjustments can be made. Thanks :)
    • Jonathan. Looks great! The image that I posted for the short is obviously from "Jockey." In your submission there is still some of the "Jockey" text visible in the waistband. Is it possible to fade that out? Also the short image I had posted was primarily for reference. I say that because in a large picture there is still much fuzziness. Can this image be made to appear sharper??

  • #18 shows the garment with your logo on the left leg. Let me know if you would like the logo to be a little bigger Edit: #19 shows a slightly larger logo, and I also corrected the angle. Like in the photo, #20 added red to the inside of the waistband

      |--| Is it a vector file? Looks perfect!!!

    • Hi, thanks! It is a high-resolution .psd file; 16x11in at 300dpi, perfect for printing publications and/or web use

    • I will also be needing to resize this image for banner displays at tradeshows. Not sure if a 300dpi will be clear enough resolution for a 2 foot by 2 foot image?

    • It should look good. I've done banner & billboard graphics in the past and this is typically what my workflow entails. Even at it's worst e.g. 100dpi it will look fine for banner use. Edit: depending on where you print, the majority of printers will use file sizes anywhere from 1/4 to 1/8 the actual size (for large-scale printing jobs). So this should be fine :) Edit2: I just did a test at 2x2ft and there's no quality loss. Looks good :)

    • If you feel 300 isn't enough, I can bump it up to 600 if needed

    • If you can bump it up to 600 then we'll call it good. Excellent work and I appreciate all that you have done for this small project.

Hi. I've submitted design #21. I can put it on any background colour you need and it's a vector image so it can be resized to any size necessary without loss in quality.
