Project description

Anchor Hitch is a full service seafood restaurant, raw bar and full alcohol bar.  The official descriptor of the restaurant is "Seafood + Raw Bar." (Note, +/and/& can all be used)

The majority of our menu is consistent with that of a traditional New England seafood restaurant, ie clam chowder, lobster rolls and whole fish, with a New American spin to the seafood items and adding in additional popular proteins, ie scallop crudo, shrimp ravioli and pork belly sliders.  Our brand represents a modern, hipster and trendy lifestyle while still remaining true to the traditional New England seafood roots.  With that being said, the restaurant decor is rustic with a modern flare.  Upon walking into our restaurant it doesn't scream seafood and oyster bar, but it subtly and stylistically hints that this isn't your run of the mill seafood restaurant, which we aren't.  We offer new flavors and thoughtful dishes at a reasonable price.  Our goal is to bring the fine dining experience in a casual, everyday, environment.

We expect to cater to a wide range of ages from 18-60, but are focused on the middle to upper class foodie, single family and the white collar hipster community.  The owners range from 25 to 35 in age.  We define ourselves as stylish, educated and up to date/modern young men.

The Anchor Hitch itself is a knot which ties a vessel to the dock, however we are open to a stylistic usage of a traditional anchor, the usage of the anchor hitch knot itself and/or both or neither.  We are open to the logo being just typography as well.  The logo will be used on signage, uniforms, menu, social media and all other restaurant/business materials.

  • About #160, @Leandrovallejos comes off as very stock and run of the mill. We want to have a subtle yet modern logo that represents who we are (as stated in our brief). Thanks.

    • About #152, @meskinvestgroup thanks for your feedback, good to know

  • Love the loop shrimp and fish, want to see knot or rope incorporated and maybe a more feminine like anchor. Thanks for your hard work. #124
  • Do not like the background. Too busy #153
  • About #48, @meskinvestgroup No problem! Can you tell me specifically what you don't like about the shape so I have something to work with?
  • Though a nice image, not appropriate for restaurant. We want a flat image. #150
  • The use of the shrimp and fish in the loop is creative and caught our attention. However, we would like to see A. a better anchor B. the use of the knot incorporated. C. the fork and spoon (and potentially the use of the wheel) a bit too thematic. Thanks. #132
  • Still among our favorites. However, we think that something is missing and/or the logo comes off as being a little generic and not memorable. With that being said, the Anchor is featured rather than the knot. Just some food for thought. Thanks for your hard work. #76
