Artsy Lifestyle Photographers Need LOGO rebrand for Art/Photography Studio.

I am very satisfied that our chosen logo design reflects the professional, artistic vibe I wanted for my logo redesign. Design Contest was a satisfying and quick process if you know what you like. The designers were responsive to feedback and gave me a range of choices that I couldn't have found with a single designer. As an entrepreneur I appreciate this global, crowd-sourced approach and I'm sure I'll be back to Design Contest again in the future.

Project description

Art, people, love, experience and quality are sensibilities we'd like to express in our values and brand identity with a modern and timeless approach. We are looking for a logo that will reflect our artistic natures that could carry us through other projects without tying us solely to portrait photography. But the main usage will be for branding the photography studio. You can view our website at

We don't have any particular design items to request at this time but would like to avoid cameras and film stripes. Also since we are from Portland please avoid birds (you can reference 'Portlandia' for that one if you missed it.) A heart being used would have to be very subtle if you want to try it but we don't have a strong need for a heart in this logo design. Would like fresh eyes to look at our work and website and present a logo that expresses us well.

Open to the first round being your interpretation of a good logo for us with a boutique feel. A horizontal vs. vertical logo will be preferred. The logo will need to translate well to a digital watermark by being able to be opaque white and easily readable.

  • Dear CH, maintaining the original graphic i have reworked the design in #122 .
  • Graphic too big, font hard to read.
  • Hi, Thanks a lot for your feed back. #114 is the improvised version of #58. Hope you like it. #115 is another design i made for you.Looking forward for your views and feedback :)
  • Interesting but not quite in the direction I'm thinking. Toomuch like a wedding/celebration look.
  • This feels too feminine.
  • This feels too feminine.
  • Interesting but the layout feels unbalanced.
  • I liked your original graphic better. Could you rework that shape into a logo option? #22 Use the whole name Campbell Salgado Studio please.
  • I think I prefer the original version over this.
  • Can you make the graphic more playful, less refined? Text looks good.
  • graphic overshadows text.
  • Fonts don't work together.
  • Too childlike...
  • This graphic isn't the right direction. The font choice isn't a favorite either. Sorry.
  • I'm removing this b/c it looks the same as #109. Still like the direction. Let me know if there was something different I missed.
  • Graphic too busy.
  • Too feminine.
  • Trying to avoid cameras.
  • Graphic is too dominant over text.
  • Show me a version without graphic element on top and with a different element (not letters) leave all text the same for both versions. Thx.
