  • Hello, #4 is my draft proposal, featuring a highly appliable font with an incorporated graphic reference. Colors are variable according to your taste. I'm ready for your feedback and requests.
    • Thank you. I like the start of the design and the incorporation of the cuff into the logo. Please see what it would look like with a different font like the one used by the NYPD on their logo.

    • Sure thing; here's the new version with a solid and team-style font, the kind used in military and sports fields: #10. Also shown are layout and color scheme variations. Let me know about any more modifications you'd like to preview.

      |--| Thanks. Please see if you can get a font that is closer to the NYPD logo. I am not an artist but I think it is a cross between Eurostile and Bank Gothic.

    • I did research NYPD graphics, including logo and car prints, but I don't agree with that online forum post about the Eurostile/Bank Gothic reference; most prominently, the "NYPD" acronym features a collegiate-styled serif. In any case, I've applied a new font type relative to the referenced crossover, and re-framed the design in a locked layout: #23. Let me know if you like this updated version.

    • #23 looks great with the locked layout. Let's see how it looks with a regular font C for the "C"ode and leave the "C" on the cuffs as is.

    • Yes, that layout works really well and I'm glad you like it; here's the updated C4C-4 version you requested: #34.

  • Hi CH, maybe you can give some feedback for my design? thanks
    • I like the design. I like the font on 14 the best as I think it is closest to a police car or department font with a more block style. Why don't you revise and change the orientation of the cuff so the keyhole is at 6 PM and the cuff is oriented to the reader. Thank you.

    • thanks, please see my update design

    • Looks good. A contender. Let's see how it looks a little simpler without the lines above and below. Thanks.

  • Similar to #8. I prefer #8 without the chain as many of our cuffs will be of the hinged design.
  • Fabio. Let's see how this design would look with the Code positioned a line above Cuffs. If you have the handcuff on the "cuff" line open, the open part of the cuff could form the C for the Code. Hope this makes sense (IE use an open cuff to create two C's with the words on two separate lines.
    • Sure, do you mean something like this: #59, or for the open cuff to be as capital C for both "code" and "cuffs"?

    • For the open cuff to create both letters. Not sure how it would look.

    • I've reached my 5-submittal limit, so unless you're still interested in one of my designs and would increase its rating, I can't upload any more.

    • Ok. Not familiar. If I eliminate one will that help?

    • I think that more submittals are allowed if at least one of the entries is rated 30 points over the current rating, but I'm not sure.

    • I deleted a few. Please see if that helps. Thank you.

    • Nope. The only way I'm aware of is if the rating of one or more of the entries is increased to be among the top rated, therefore allowing the designer to upload 2 more, and so on.

    • Ok. I moved #35 up to the top. Please see if that works.

    • Apparently not, although it had worked in 2 other contests I participated in and then won, as the client could request more previews after I had hit the 5-upload limit... I could prepare a new preview but I won't be able to submit it.

    • Can you try editing an existing design with changes?

    • Yes of course, but at the moment I can't submit any new preview files; the entry number limit is indeed a drawback of this platform... You could contact the site's staff to request information or that I be allowed to submit a couple more entries. I'll be on standby.

  • Thanks Joekong. Can you rotate the logo clockwise slightly so the words are centered at 12 and 6?
  • Joanick I like the design. Can you expand the spacing slightly between the letters? I think the C and the O are a little close with the integrated cuff in the font. If you don't know what you are reading you might confuse the c for a closed d. Another option is to rotate the cuff body to 6 o'clock on the O as opposed to the 9 o'clock orientation.
    • Hi CH, i already make the revision you want.can you check #44

      |--| And also cheack #45, thank you for the rating in feedback.

  • Hello; #35 is an alternative version of C4C-4 with a rounder "C" to better harmonize within the circle, in case you'd want to consider it.
  • Hi CH: Please take a look at my entries #87 #88 . The simple logo (#88) represents the initials C & C with the cuffs to use the symbol in a simple way. Any feedback would be helpful. KIND REGARDS [JOBZZ]
  • Can you use the font in #76 in the design of #52? I like the design of 52 more but the font of 76. Thanks.
  • hi there mlofgren, I wanted to let you know that your contest is in expired mode. Designers can't post entries or reply in comments while contest is in expired mode. The contest is waiting for you to either choose a winner or extend the contest. I wanted to also let you know that after you choose a winner you will have 7 more days to work with your winning designer on changes you may need or want. Please let us know if you need any help. In cases when Contest Holder likes some designs of the 1st level designer and wants some changes but designer is up to his limit, CH can rank some of his designs with 30+ rating points and designer will get the opportunity to upload additional design Thank you DC staff
  • Vonryan, One of the designs that I was hoping to see was a single open cuff being used to create both letter C's. Can you modify this to make one single open cuff creating both letters? The lines will need to be stacked to do so. Hope my explanation makes sense.
    • Submitted entry #94. Please let me know I'm getting the idea. Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it a lot.

    • Exactly. If you can just flip the cuff so the key side is towards 6 o'clock.

    • Too bad, time is up. Thanks CH! I hope I did something right on my last few entries.

  • Hello CH, please take a look at #104 : simple, modern, clear... and easy to apply in any size Any feedback would be very helpful. KIND REGARDS [JOBZ]
  • Please check #99 and #102. I'll be pleased in make any improves that you need in form, type, color or shape KIND REGARDS [JOBZ]
  • Hello CH, please take a look at #95: simple, modern, clear... Any feedback would be very helpful. KIND REGARDS [JOBZ]

      |--| I like the design. If you can just put a little more space before the 4. I also like a more edgy font like #66 or #84.

    • WORKING ON IT !

  • Zoi I like the design but I think the shield needs to be slightly larger so that it does not taper in the middle. I would like to see it with a full size shield with no taper in the middle. Thanks.
    • Hi. Thanks for liking my design proposal #91. |--| Thank you. Understood.

  • I like this design. Can you change the font to one that is like that used in #39 as it is a little more accented. Thanks.
