Winning design #36 by PAVIAN, Logo Design for Convergent CrossFit Contest
Gold Medal

designed by PAVIAN

Project description

We are a gym that brings multiple disciplines together, hence convergent. Multiple arrows are traditionally pointed toward each other to indicate convergence. We would like to see this incorporated into the logo. The primary colors are red and orange with a secondary color of charcoal gray. We plan to reuse the font in other areas of the website and marketing materials for headings and/or special print.

  • Here's my draft proposal: #4, shown in several layout and icon variations. I'm ready for your feedback and requests.
    • Love the out of the box design as it is more unique than I'd expected. However, the convergence theme follows multiple things coming together.

    • If you're interested in the "C spiral" icon I can rework the concept in that theme.

    • The "G" arrow is clever. Let's see the rework in that theme. Not sure I would want the arrows in the "g" but I'd have to see it to know. Thanks.

    • OK, #11 is a possible revision of the concept with complementing "C" and "G" arrow swoop elements, dynamically distributed text and compact layout.

  • Hello rewoodrell, I submitted design #3. An feedback would be greatly appreciated
    • Looking form something a bit more aggressive that stands out from the ordinary.

    • I submitted a new design idea. Please take a look at #10

  • Hello CH, please take a look at #25 and provide feedback if possible. I saw your comment regarding incorporating the logo within the typeface itself and I took that into consideration. I hope you enjoy.
  • Hello CH, please check entries #7 #8 . Let me know what you think. Thanks
    • Thanks for the entries. The use of the barbell to create and arrow pattern was interesting, but barbells are over used in industry logos. I'd like to take a different path. Most of the designs are using an offset graphic at this point. I'd like to see what else can be done beyond that style. Please use Orange and Red as primary colors.

  • I really like this design and font. Can you add in orange along with the red with multiple variations?
