Winning design #149 by hongxia, Logo Design for DMEAF Contest
Gold Medal

designed by hongxia

Project description

We are called the DMEAF, Denver Maintenance Employee Assistance Fund, a nonprofit organization developed here in Denver Colorado within United Airlines. We are a small organization who offers assistance to fellow maintenance workers at United Airlines in Denver Colorado. We are a nonprofit who offers cash assistance to those who face hardships such as death in the family, divorces, rehab or health problems which hinder their ability to return to work, to mention a few. We are looking for a new logo that reflects a helping hand or hope. A bridge to assist through the hard times. Perhaps included in the design is a helping hand, a rising sun over the tent roof of the Denver International Airport. I see gold and blue colors. This is only my ideas but I will leave it to you the professional to use your imaginations. This design will be used on brochures, t-shirts and various pamphlets. Thank you in advance.

  • I would like to see in our design somewhere, "Denver Maintenance Employee Assistance Fund".
  • This is way to busy.
  • I like it. Nice and clean and not too busy.
  • Can you add "Denver Maintenance Employee Fund around the outside perimeter of the circle or sun?
  • Thank you.
  • You don't understand what I mean. Keep the edge like the beginning. The lines that radiate from the middle need to go away and provide a solid but variable textured gold or yellow. Kind of what you have behind "DMEAF".
  • Can you resubmit #25 please. I accidentally eliminated it.
  • Not what I meant. Keep it solid but streaks of gold going outward.
  • Nice job. I really like this. Keep experimenting.
  • I have a problem with the ribbon type texture of the outer circle. If you could make it like outward sun rays, that may help. Thank you.
  • Dear Contest Holder, I added shadow of airliner to my design #22. If you want any other changes, it isn't a problem. Thanks for your feedback.
  • Can you add a shadow of a airliner in the sky?
  • Don't like the separation of the hands. Looks random. Also don't like the blue in the whole circle.
  • Would like to see it in color.
  • I like the hand on #43 better but I do like the second blue outside border.
  • I don't see any "helping hands".
  • Don't like the addition. Don't look like hands.
  • Can you incorporate helping hands? One hand reaching out to another? Thanks.
  • Dear Contest Holder, Design #39 is my first concept for your foundation's new logo. This concept incorporates the primary elements you requested in your brief (excluding the sunset). After a lot of thought I decided to go with a color palette of blue and white rather than the sunset color scheme. This gives the logo a much calmer and polished look. That being said, I would be more than happy to incorporate a sunset if you would like. If you would like to see any changes please feel free to ask! Sincerely, Marleighna Claunch Claunch Design Studio
  • We are a non profit who assists fellow workers at the Airport. This doesn't really reflect this. I mentioned something like helping hands for a bridge over troubled waters if you will. Use your imagination.
