Project description

We are looking for a great, creative and fun logo for our new company "Gingerbread Kids". Gingerbread Kids creates learning apps and resources (online) for kids aged 7 - 12. Whilst kids will use the products, in most cases the products (apps and resources) we create will be purchased by elementary/primary teachers and/or parents for the kids. The logo needs to be fun and cool for kids those ages and appeal to the teachers/parents purchasing. We would like something:- - creative (for a modern app-design agency like us) - cool (skateboards, chuck shoes, spiked haircut on gingerbread kids? - these are just ideas to explain the concept) - colourful and very memorable. - A Gingerbread man should probably be included in the logo.

  • Thanks for your design. I think this design is too simple and needs to follow the project brief more... It doesn't really say "creative" or contain exciting colours or components for kids. Not really related to educational or learning apps either. Thanks again.
  • Thanks for the design... I like the simplicity but it looks a little rough or unfinished or maybe not cleaned up enough. I like the choice of simp,e colours.
  • Hi, I got notification that you send PM here but I really cannot find it. Would you please resend so that I know what to do with my concepts. Thanks. Regads
  • We really like this logo you've designed - the colours are great and we like the way they are used in the "kids" word. The fonts chosen are nice and represent the values our brand is trying to convey. I like the coloured rectangles too a lot. Two problems - 1. If this is used in black and white then the gingerbread man will probably disappear. 2. The gingerbread man doesn't stand out quite enough? What do you suggest?

  • Dear ch, thanks for your feedback, i will provide some refinements. thank you.
  • Thank you for your creative design... We like the kid on the skateboard and colours of that too. I don't really like the font used or the colour of that and the "KIDS" blocks have been used quite a few times before and the colours look not right with them either. Thanks for the design and I look forward to some refinements.
  • About #36 Thank you for your feedback and rating. I will really appreciate any comments, suggestions or improvements of this design to get a better approach of what you expect. Best Regards, gmarulanda
  • About #35 Thanks for your feedback. I made a new logo, with a different font and try to put some more imagery with gingerbread. I think this can be a memorable and fun logo. I think this font is more intuitive and hope its what you expect. Hope you like this new logo. If you want any change ask. Best regards, Ricardo Costa
  • We really like the colourful creative logo! I'm not sure it's perfect because it doesn't include any imagery to do with gingerbread... so the logo is maybe less memorable? I think the font choice could be better... I love the use of the coloured "kids" letters and the plain Gingerbread to give a visual distinction between them but I don't like the font choice. Thanks for a great entry.
  • About #32 Hello CH, I made a colourfull and happy logo that create impact on the kids, and i try to use a clean and simple typography a little technological and with colors on the word Kids to call attention if you decided to put only lettering on a print design. Give me your feedback please. Any changes just ask. Thank you. Regards, Ricard Costa
  • Hi cyanmatt, Yes I live the font... you've really done a cool looking logo and I look forward to your further ideas.
  • Thanks for the design and the variations you've submitted... it seems like it still needs to be more memorable and unique? Can the font be more unique and memorable - it seems quite hard to read currently.
  • Thanks for the design... it seems like it still needs to be more memorable and unique? It looks a little bit too corporate now and not cool/designy enough.
  • Thanks for the design... We think it's a bit too simple and non-memorable the artwork currently... The kid is also a bit too large in the logo? The font would be very hard to use by itself and be unique or memorable like this.
  • Thanks for the design... We think it's a bit too simple and non-memorable the artwork currently... The kid is also a bit young / flat and too large. The font would be very hard to use by itself and be unique or memorable like this.
  • Hey mikestokes, thanks for your message. Will do my best to bring tomorrow some different concepts but in the same way on paper. Are you happy with the type...think this is absolutly matching to your project! greez cyanmatt
  • Thanks for the logo entry - currently it seems a little bit non-memorable? I like the font and the :) they are nice touches but the face seems a bit generic and would need to be made more unique and special for our brand.
  • Thanks for the logo entry - currently it seems a little bit too complicated and not memorable enough for our brand.
