Winning design #34 by PeachyKeenWeb, Logo Design for giveThanks - a grateful patient program Contest
Gold Medal

designed by PeachyKeenWeb

Project description

I am creating a grateful patient program for families and friend to give back to our pediatric cancer center. If our patient/families want to honor a Dr, Nurse, or Team member they can make a donation in their honor and the team member receives a recoginition pin. The funds will help research, programs, and family support. I would like to use Purple - PMS 527 as the primary lettering, and if you would like can add in Blue - PMS 2728 &/or Green - PMS 347 I am looking for something I can use in print, on a pin, and web application. Please no religous symbolism.

  • Hello, I have just submitted my first entry, #23 feedback is appreciated!! Also, just to explain my design a little, I added yellow instead of your mentioned blue and green to suggest pediatric cancer awareness colors, and the wing to the left is meant to represent an angel wing--like the nurses/staff are angels for the families and children. Thanks! Manders
  • Dear CH- If you have comments or suggestions for design #20, please let me know. I'm happy to change things. Thanks, schwede9
  • I hope u like #16 let me know on any changes. i am happy to work with ideas
  • Please no religous symbolism, we are a non-denominational hospital.

  • I have enclosed #13 as well. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you.
  • I am enclosing #12 that I have designed. Feel free to share your thoughts. Thank you.
  • Hi Ms. Furlow, I've modified the the size of my logo, the first entry was a bit too big. I hope you enjoy it and would love to hear your feedback on it.
  • Hi Ms. Furlow, #8 is a start ... fonts & color arrangement can change easily. Are you looking for something consistent with the present branding of the other programs you mentioned? i.e. same font for give & Thanks? I don't want to provide an identical match for giveThanks if that's not what you're looking for.
  • #3, First attempt on this, stuck with something simple and cute/loving.. Hope you enjoy it, Feedback/rating is appreciated
  • The program is called giveThanks, and I think I am just looking for a symbol, but open to suggestions. It is part of our overall giving program to Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach. Our employee giving program is called iGive, or major gift campaign is giveTomorrows, and our Cancer Center Campagin is giveHope. I am looking for a new design, but that has those works. The "g" does not need to be small. I am looking for something I can use that will fit into our hospital branding
  • Could You please write something about name of the program? Would You like just a symbol?
  • Hello CH! please take a look to my design #59. The main concept is to represent love by a helping hand that makes a heart. I used the colors you wanted, the typography looks very friendly and highly readable. I would like to know what do you think, because I have really good ideas but only 2 chances to upload designs. thanks in advance!! bye
  • Dear Renaefurlow, Here are my first entries #46, #47, and #48. I was going for something that would easily work on a pin or button, print and on the web. I wanted to try something that the staff would like to wear on their uniforms/collars etc which would also give pleasure to the children in the hospital when they look at the pins/buttons. I came up with a rabbit or two! An adult and a child or just an adult or child. Let me know what you think. I love the idea of showing appreciation to the staff. Kind regards, Liz
  • Contest Holder, Any feedback about #15? Greatly appreciated!!!
  • Hi Ms. Furlow, In #34, I've updated my original #8 with the new, darker colors according to the revised brief. It's literally meant to represent someone saying "Thanks." Please let me know if you'd like to see anything different. Thanks!
  • It would be a good idea turn the contest into blind
  • About #47, thanks for feedback, here it is with dolphin in #65 and #66. Let me know if you would like to try anything else. This design will work in all formats including print, web, embroidery, engraving and embossing very easily. It will also work in monochrome. Kind regards, Liz
  • Can you use this with a dolphin?
  • Hello CH! take a look at #60 is the same as #59 but with a different order for you can put it in a pin. I hope you like it!! bye.
