Project description

This logo will be used for our cardio fitness center (I Cardio). This fitness center focuses on cardio related fitness and nutrition. (treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, Spin bikes, etc.) When color is incorporated, please use bold/modern colors. There are 3 components that must be integrated into the logo: 1- The name: I Cardio with tag line "FITNESS AND NUTRITION" 2- An EKG line (please Google image this if you are unfamiliar, should possibly be red 3- We would really like to see a runner or a pair (male and female) incorporated in the logo. Could be just a runner, a pair of runners, or a runner on a treadmill or elliptical fitness type equipment. We would prefer not to have heart symbols within the logo or nutrition symbols such as apples within the logo.

  • Hi CH, I've just submitted the first design I made. I want to let you know that in this first entry I've intentionally left out the EKG line because it would ruin the design. In my next submission I will include it.

      |--| Ok, I've inserted the EKG in the design so here are the updates: #17

      |--| Thank you, but the designs are a bit busy. It's difficult to recognize the "I" and we would rather not have heart images in the logo. Sorry but we are eliminating these two.

    • thank you will get back to you with new designs.. and this time you will surely like my design , thank you

  • Hi CH,please see my entry #19 and provide your views on it... thanks
  • I like the use of the EKG line in #2. I would like to see I Cardio in a different font.
    • Hi, Thanks for the feedback. #7 is the same as #2 but with a different font as requested. Please let me know if you would like to see other font options and the style you prefer... bold, serif, cursive etc.. Regards, Glen.

  • Hello CH, I have submitted design #4 any feedback/comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Evan

      |--| Hi Evan, I like your design. I would like to see a little space between "I" and "Cardio" Also needs to have tag line "Fitness and Nutrition added and I wouldn't mind seeing yours in a different/faster font and maybe different color scheme. Thanks.

    • Sorry, I saw the tag line after I posted that one. I had another completed prior to reading your comment so I have uploaded that one #5. I will also create some new concepts based on the changes you have suggested. Thank you for getting back so quickly. -Evan

  • Hi Islandbar1 can you give some feedback for my submission? great thanks

      |--| Hey kwik, All of your submissions are getting a lot of conversation among our group. #9 is not what we are looking for. #30 is solid but could you replace the heart with a dot above the "i" please. On #14, we like the colors, but the group would like the runner outlined in black rather than red and again replace the heart with a dot in the "i". #10 is also a solid entry. We like the colors. We would like to see "fitness and nutrition" capitalized as in your others. I think the group prefers slant/fast looking lettering for "I Cardio" Overall you seem to have covered all that we asked for. To all reading this, we can see the relation to "fitness and nutrition" with the hearts and apples, and its quite innovative, but not the direction we want to go with our logo. Thanks.

    • please see my new update design thanks

  • Hello CH! Please give us your opinion about the design #34 Thanks !
    • This was an interesting concept, but we are leaning more towards distinctive/modern/block type lettering. The ekg line is very realistic! Don't take this the wrong way, but we all agree that this logo would be perfect for an "ladies only" facility.

  • We would rather not have the heart symbol in the logo. We like the concept but prefer other colors. We are keeping this one in the contest.
    • Hi Thanks for the feedback. I changed the color to red/black and green/blue. I also added a female runner. Please take a look at #50, #51 #52 adn #53. Thanks Andrei

  • Hello! I submitted #44. I included the elements you want and hope you like it.
    • I saw that you don't want heart symbol when I was already uploaded my entry. Sorry about that. I'll try to create new one.

  • #15 and #16 were tough decisions. We liked the simple but bold design. We can see the relation of the apple and heart symbol with fitness and nutrition tag line, but it's not the direction we want for our logo. We do however think you have a very, very realistic ekg line. Unfortunately its for a very sick heart as it represents a first degree AV block with a bundle branch block and ST segment depression that usually represents an oxygen starved heart. We of course know that there's no way that as a designer you would have knowledge of this. Thanks but the group has decided to eliminate these two designs.
    • Hi islandbar1, I appreciate the time you dedicated to reviewing my work and will be more careful with my future EKG's :) Regards, Tom

    • Your welcome and I hope by in the future (ekg's) you mean in your future designs for us. We did like your logos. Try adding a runner or pair of runners and a healthier ekg if you have the time.

  • We have updated the brief to be more specific.
  • We are keeping this one in the running. I will tell you that some in the group are not into the runner as a symbol within the "o" of cardio. We would like to see a more realistic runner and if possible a male and female runner together in the logo. We also thought the ekg line with the tagline was a nice touch.
  • We like the slant/fast lettering in #6 much better.
  • As we discussed, this one is being eliminated because of the missing tagline.
  • This is an interesting design but the group likes your other designs better and does not care for the runner and "i" combo concept.
  • This is another that gets a lot of feedback from the group. Would like to see this one with the letters slanted or faster looking. Capital and bold letters in the tagline. I'm not sure if you could do this but, could you put a smaller, maybe more feminine runner beside and slightly in front of the original runner in blue to show both genders.
  • This one still gets a lot of mention by the group. We would like to see the runner mad to look fast as in #10 and "Fitness and Nutrition" a little more bold.
  • This one is being eliminated because we are trying to stay clear of the heart symbol. We like #11 much better.
  • We would like to see this one with the runner outlined in black and a dot rather than a heart symbol over the second "i" Thanks.
  • We would like to see this one with a dot over the second "i" and the runner in black outline rather than red.
