Ian's Ride

Overall design contest was a very rewarding experience. We were able to acquire the design we were looking for and had a lot of options to choose from. I have already recommended this website to others.

Winning design #162 by pasukanmatiblog, Logo Design for Ian's Ride Contest

Project description

We are a nonprofit corporation recently organized.  Our focus is outdoor accessibility.  Our founding member, Ian, is paralyzed from the neck down from a spinal cord injury incurred while riding a bicycle.  He found emotional healing from outdoor trips in his power wheelchair on local bike paths.  It led him to an ambitious goal of riding his wheelchair across the state of Washington.  Ian's Ride was born from this adventure, as it inspired many.

We are now looking for a logo.  We will use the logo for business cards and such to reach out for donations and networking. It should include an outdoor theme emphasizing trails, wheelchair(s), and maybe even dreadlocks.  Ian has very long dreadlocks.  You can see Ian at iansride.com and there are many images of the 2016 ride found there.  This would give you the true flavor of our focus.

  • I really like this but I feel like the scenery needs to be larger in the background. #132
  • Hi, thank you for the opportunity to assist you in your logo development. After studying your brief and viewing the other fantastic designs I wanted to develop a logo that really had some meaning to back it up. The "Triangle" is a connection with the mind-body-spirit. It also represents strength as it is resting on it's sharpest point. I feel this is what you represent in "Ian's Ride. The composition is well planned out so it carries a smooth flow with the elements. It is actually illustrated in one color with a percentage of the color to appear as two colors. This really gives it life in a very inviting and memorable manner. Thank You. #143
