Project description

Logo design musts A great nonprofit logo must provide an organization with a solid foundation upon which to build its brand. It should be: • aesthetically pleasing but not too fancy • modern, minimal and elegant (providing clear and sophisticated look) • distinctive • memorable • timeless and consistent (this creates trust and allows people to distinguish your organization from other org.) • scalable (can be reshaped and resized) • simple enough for use with multiple mediums (not to be overdesigned) • adaptable (color and black and white)- red may be a choice since it’s a strong color that provokes the senses with black letters and white background. • communicates qualities of the brand (can create strong emotional connection and provide the right impression for the nonprofit) Karaiskakio Foundation is a non profit organisation that was created in 1997 in order to support the patients with hematological malignancies through the establishment of the Cyprus Bone Marrow Donor Registry (CYBMDR). Within its 16 years of operation the Foundation now has the largest per capita Bone Marrow donor Registry in the world, from which 20-30 donors are selected to donate Bone Marrow each year to patients from all over the world. In addition, the Foundation also runs an advanced Immunogenetics laboratory and a Molecular Hematology Lab involved in the molecular investgation of hematological malignancies. (www.karaiskakio.org)

  • Hello CH, About #3: The concept in this design a representation of a cross section of a bone where the marrow is in the shape of a drop, implying the action of a transfer. It's a simple to shape stamp that will be easily identifiable. #4 is a variation on this concept. Hope you like them.
  • Hello CH, I have submitted design #2. If you have any comments, please share them with me. I am glad to help out. Thank you, Aniketb
  • Hello pcosteas, how are you? i uploaded two proposals to you logo, #9 and #10 check it out and let me know your feedback about them, tks! :) The idea is to represent the Institution with the cube in perspective looking great, the figure at center defines a drop of blood, yet a flame that gives hope to all the patients with hematological malignancies, and the white silhouette relates to the bone structure, together the logo can be seen as a cross section of a bone. All this in a minimalist style for fast uptake of the logo, can be applied to one ink and printing will be cheaper. Regards! :)

      |--| Change your perspective. Change the cube version into something else and keep it modern and softer

  • instead of a heart think of another sign that can be applied for that type of organization.
    • I cannot upload anymore designs. I did replace the heart symbol and change the font. Unfortunately, you won't be able to see it. Good Luck everyone.

  • try to make one design with black fonts and try to make also one other catchy but in a soft mood design!!
    • I've uploaded entry #21 for your feedback. Hope this is what you meant. Also, of the logomark options in #18, is there one you like, or would you like to modify one of them, or do you want something else entirely? Thank you.

  • change fonts for Karaiskakio and try also another design for the O letter!
  • Please provide feedback for #20. Thank you for your consideration.
  • nice fonts keep the design modern but more structured one
  • too busy. keep it in a white background and remove the design below.
    • Thank you for the feedback, please check #19. Thanks!

  • just change the fonts of "Karaiskakio Foundation" into more round and modern one. if you want keep it on this direction with another option of design
    • Hello CH, Thanks for the feedback about entry #3. I've uploaded entry #17, with a more rounded and modern font, but still one unique enough to serve well as an identifier for the foundation. In entry #18, I've provided some variations on the design of the mark, as you requested, so you can see the possible options. Please don't hesitate to request any further modifications. Thank you.

  • Somehow bland design. Give us another design option.
  • give us another design option keeping this direction.
  • pls change the design. keep it simple, modern but with dynamic presentation.
  • the design is too loud and does not seem to be relevant to the scope of the foundation. Fonts should be changed
  • definitely change the design and the fonts. keep it in a white background.
  • Can you give us another design option? Keep it soft and simple like this one but change the colour of "foundation" into black or gray.
  • too disturbing. Change the design and the fonts
  • too laud keep it less simple
  • can you change the colour of Karaiskakio into black and change the heart design into something else maybe? keep it in a soft design like this one.
  • SMALLER DESIGN CHANGE FONTS TO MODERN STRONGER AND IN CAPITAL
