KORT Sign Design Logo

This was a great experience for us! Very talented people who made it hard for us to select a logo. I just wish we could have compensated the other top two designers ($99 would have been fine, but $150 per designer is just too much for us now, as we are heavily invested in a new business). Thank you!

Project description

KORT Sign Design professionally designed signs of all kinds Signs, digital printing & graphics, banners, political signs, monument signs, post & panel signs, vehicle wraps, trade show & displays and much more. We can design it for you or work with your design. Target audience is corporations and advertising agencies. FYI - KORT stands for Knights Of the Round Table. Why? Because we were tired of the big 'corporations' and felt we needed a workplace that truly lives by a certain code of ethics or 'chivalry'. Not just 'talk' about it in HR babble but really practice it.

  • DEAR CH #33 IS MY NEW VERSION WITH THE KING'S ARTHUR ROUND TABLE FOR O.I TRY TO MAKE THE TABLE MORE SIMPLE AND ALSO I TRY A DIFFERENT FONT AS YOU ASK. THANK YOU
  • October 30, 2012: All, we are seeing some good creative work here – thank you for your time. KORT’s mission is to provide professionally designed, customized signs for any situation. All members of KORT Sign Design will have an identity and all will facilitate a collective commitment to each other and our customers; as with the Round Table as a symbol of the equality of Arthur's knights. We want to keep this connection subtle but meaningful. The logo must be able to be reproduced in black & white and able to easily embroider onto a shirt or other textile. Also, for a business card we envision one side with just the logo and tagline reversed out on a black background to give it that extra ‘pop’. The other side will be color on white with all of the contact information.

About #1 Thank you so much for reply my entry! the idea of a symbol in the letter "o", would be to represent the various services that your company performs. And also the use of a contemporary typography to represent professionalism and dynamism. Any new setting, please let me know. Regards. Erick
  • Would like a simpler design inside the "o" but this is going in the right direction. Also, could you try a stronger font? Thanks!
  • Really like the font and type treatment at the top! Not quite sure what that "o" image is...please clarify. Could you also try something environmental? It's a very green printing process we have. Or something to do with knights - although I realize that could look corny. Thanks!
  • DEAR CH #8 THE O ON KORT IS INSPIRED BY KING'S ARTHUR KNIGHT ROUND TABLE HOPE YOU LIKE YHE IDEA
  • Hello CH, I would appreciate it if you would take my design in consideration. it is #6 THANKS!
  • Hi CH, I would appreciate some feedback on entries #60 and #61. Cheers, dlbonanno64
  • Hi CH, Thank you for the positive response regarding my work. Here-with are #53 and #54 , the corners are removed, these where placed in the origina design to give a feeling of 'sign' I have removed these and developed the full T's on each the gradient version #49 and the flat version #51 (of 2 colors) to amend to your requests, any further ideas or tweaks towards the final product I will very happily do for you. I found that the submitted logo jpg in the brief was a different green color code to the brief suggestion, hopefully I have it correct? Regards
  • This is really great! Could you try it without the corner graphics? Also, I'd like to see a little more of the "t" if not the whole thing - could you experiment with that a bit? Thank you!
  • Dear CH, Please accept my submission #49, the 'O' represent a shield of a Knight bursting through into the design. regards.
  • hello ch, I just uploaded my design, I know this is just a concept, not the full requirements of yours. your feedback is really appreciated providing you the required one.#36 Thanks
  • Love this design but everyone we talked to suggested we make the t more identifiable (full cross at the top)
  • 95 and 96 are too busy. Those would be hard to reproduce on some things. also, they seem a bit "flowery" for a print shop, and to represent Knights of the Round Table.
  • Could you try moving the K closer to the O? I'd like to see the SIGNDESIGN a bit stronger too - either bolder or a bit larger. Thanks!
  • Howdy CH, I would appreciate some feedback on entries #95 and #96 . Cheers,

Hey There! What's wrong with you, a lot of indecision? Please do not make any further comment or score on my proposal. Thankful.
  • I must say I like this style with the tinting especially in the 'shield' 'O' and the shadow below it. That would be good for a website.
  • Howdy CH, Good thought! We always provide b/w in our final files, it's always nice to know the outcome of this, so if you need any other designs of mine producing this way or tweaking, please do not hesitate to ask. This #94 I have done from #53, you're right it does look tighter. Kind regards.
  • This one seems 'tighter' than #56, which I like. Can you show us how it would look in 'pure' black and white as if we were to have it embroidered in one color on a dress shirt?
