Project description

Tight Line Marketing was based on a saying that fellow captains say to each other before they head out fishing. Sort of a saying of good luck. Also it is a tactic when fishing that if you keep the fishing line tight you will always catch the big fish, if the line goes slack you will lose the big fish. The same thing applies in Marketing and it's our job to "Keep the Line Tight" so that they can catch the next customer that come's their way. I would like to incorporate that concept in our logo. Our website is located here http://www.tightlinemarketing.com. I would like a sharp professional logo, as opposed to a cartoon-like logo. Colors like light blue, Dark Blues, White with a Dark Shadow Behind would be ideal. I would like to incorporate the feeling of a big fish on the other end of a line by even using the letters of our Business Name. Not sure if that is possible. Good Luck!!

  • I like this one the best so far, but the shark fin might be a bit to aggressive, as I'm not a shark :) Perhaps a sailfish fin or a marlin fin...
  • The E doesn't look like an E and the L doesn't look too clear eaither. if you can figure out how to clear that up a bit you are onto something!
  • doesn't look like a fishing rod
  • My Pleasure, The reel looks like a fly reel and rod, and I'd like to see something more along the lines of this rod/reel: http://www.rivermarinesupply.com/xcart/images2//t_11108_03.jpg A thicker font would be great to see, and also try to incorporate the blues that i was talking about. I really love the concept of hooking the last letter. Let me know if you need any more feedback...

  • Hi Jason. Thanks for your comment. if you dont mind me asking what didnt you like about the reel? Would you possibly like to see less and more like an illusion or possible a different font? Or maybee just the rod part not touching the text? thanks for your your input.
  • if you could make the fish smaller and a bit more aggressive like a tuna or a marlin/sailfish we would highly consider this one...
  • i don't like the logo as it looks like a religious cross and i don't like the strikethrough
  • I don't really like the crossing through the logo. It looks kinda evil :) and the logo looks like a cross...
  • A Dolphin isn't a fish its a mammal silly! :)
  • You are definitely on the right path. I love the line catching the last letter! Brilliant! However i didn't like the reel part of the "g". I'd like to see a revision for sure!!
  • I made some color changes on #54. A brighter blue perhaps. Thanks
  • CH: Jason1225 Added the Sailfish treatment to revise my last submission. Man does it POP now! Would you rather the deep grey color instead of the Dark Blue?
  • CH: Jason1225 Here is a revised submission. I removed the shark elements and added a marlin tail, head, fins etc. Not so sure I liek this one particularly better but I hope you do. This can be modified to use any fish... I will try to get one in with a sail fish... That big fin might really add some POP! Awesome company name btw. I am a big fly fisherman.
  • Dude! Loving he Sail!! I just wanna see someother ways you can play around with this would love to see a couple more revisions
  • CH: Jason1225 Here is my initial submission. I hope you like it. Many tweaks possible if needed. You mentioned a shark being too aggressive. I will see what I can do to tone it down a bit.
  • #65 same concept as previous with sailfish fin. Thanks for the feedback!

Hello there CH. This is my entry #57. I made the letter "G" as the icon that pictures a hook, a fish and water line. Hope you like it. Thank you.
  • I have some changes to #26. I think this is closer to the nature of your business.
  • CH: Jason 1225 Here is my revised submission. Bolder All Cap Font with some airyness to it. Used sail fish because it seems you are keen to this. Thank you for the opportunity.
