Project description

We´re launching a new website targeting professional partners in the NPO sector and need a sophisticated, memorable logo. The callenge is to keep in mind that our work includes social aspects but we are acting like a normal company - providing professional information sources about accessible tourism and offering Coaching. So the Logo should not suggest a too emotional impression of Stiftung IDH. We are a NPO, but the Logo has to fit to our work with financial topics, consulting and financing studies too. Our peer group are Authorities and quite big NPO-Organizations.
If you are uncertain about our intention, it is better to choose a Logo fitting to a conservative company than a Logo fitting to, lets say, amnesty international.
The right font is maybe more important than a colorful design.

The lettering and the font has to be in the center of attention. The lettering should be combined with an abstract graphical element. Please do not use bold fonts or a mixture of fonts within "Stiftung IDH".
Please adjust the size of the graphical element to the lettering.

We are also open to having a version of this logo with or without a "tag line" such as "Wir stiften Mobilität" listed. We tend to colors like grey and blue. We are open to other ideas but please do not use bright colors.

Comments

  • The graphical element is to big. We specified our idea in the comment.
  • We like the color. The shadow effect seems a little bit to much
  • Thank you for promptly submitting some designs. We edited the contest brief to specify our idea a little bit: The lettering should be combined with a more abstract, more graphical element. Please do not use bold fonts or a mixture of fonts within "Stiftung IDH". Please adjust the size of the graphical element to the lettering. The lettering has to be in the center of attention.
  • We like that you placed the image left of the lettering. I think the image should be more abstract and the attention must be more on the lettering.
  • We don´t really like the person in the wheelchair as a part of the Logo. Altogether there is too much of "emotional" elements in it, especially the heart.
  • Absolutly Not
  • Only one design allowed per entry. http://www.designcontest.com/logo-design/npo-accessible-tourism-for-handicapped-people-needs-clean-timeless-and-reputable-logo/entry/1/report
  • About #62 Simplicity and elegance. Ford
  • Dear CH, thank you very much for your feedback. I have only one entry left, please tell me some things. Do you like the graphic in the left side like in #35, or in the center like in #34. Regarding the color, is ok to use dark red like in #34 and #35, or do you prefer something else? Thank you.
  • CDS
About #58 a subtle, sophisticated design with a unique, customized font...
  • I like the design, but could you please try to size down the graphical part a little bit?
  • like the other one...
  • not too bad, but the design don´t catch us
  • really nice idea, although we thought of something more abstract. Do you think you could design it a little bit more abstract? And the lettering is too bold-ish. Maybe you could use another, more lightweight font? Something that does`t look so familiar? By the way, we like this icon better than the one you choose in #35, so we eliminated #35.
  • too colorful and i don`t like the icon either
  • sorry, but remind me of a building
  • got the impression, i`ve seen that somewhere - in the same context we deal with
  • Too much like mother and child...
  • Contest Holder, I've uploaded two color variations of this design. Let me know if the font is in the right direction for what you are looking for and I will continue to work with this.
  • Hello CH, sorry for #43. I've uploaded it by mistake. Please check #34, #35, #44, #45, #46. #45 and #46 represent a man in a wheelchair and in the same time a landscape. I hope you like my ideas. Thank you.
