Project description

At Pear Drop Occasions we supply candy carts along with props, decorations, and favours. We do, weddings mainly, but also, birthdays, baby showers, basically any kind of party. We would like the design to use the the 'P' and the 'D' and/or the 'O' ,elegantly if possible please. My business partner likes the idea of the 'Occasions' being in a fairground style font, but I'm personally not too sure. No relations to the pear-fruit please. Thank you for you time, ladies and gentleman. Any questions please feel free to ask.

  • Hello, I hope i didn't missed the main purpose here so I would like a feedback. Thank you
    • Hi thank you for your entry they are all fantastic ! Just a few things, I think our brief thinking back may have indicated that the party aspect was more dominant in the business but our main market is aimed at weddings so although we love the bright colours I think we may have to use a more muted pallet to attract wedding trade. We we're also concerned the balloons may confuse customers as we don't sell any and doesn't indicate weddings as much as parties. Hopefully if we are a bit more specific it may help tweak what you have worked on to make it perfect. We sell retro sweets on a vintage style candy cart and we also have a vintage postal bike and we do decorations like paper poms and bunting. Very sort of retro chic. Our main focus is defiantly weddings so that would take president over the other celebrations we cover. Please let us know if you need any more detail or have any questions. We really appreciate you taking the time to create for us :)

  • Dear CH, #3 Is my proposal, the top & lower decorations are formed from the initials (p&d). Please let me know your thoughts about it & Im open to any changes. Regards, Selma
    • Hello, thank you kindly for you entry. We like it very much, we thought it was extremely clever how you used the 'P' and the 'D' we love clever use of words, and negative designs. We would like to see if possible please, the P&D idea in a different colour?! We do like the colour purple you used for ' Pear Drop Occasions' exactly what we had in mind. Thank you

    • Thanks a lot for your feedback . I've made a set of different colors for the P&D that would work with the color purple, Hope you like them & if you have other choices in mind please let me know. thanks.

    • You are most welcome! Thank you for offering the different colours. Loved your clever use of letters to create a design, fantastic!

  • Hi thank you for your entry, please note that you have spelt 'Occasions' wrong. Not sure about the font as the P in Pear is not very clear.
  • Thank you for your entry. Like the purple, not so sure about the other colours.
  • Hi, thank you for your entry. We like your design and your use of letters to help make the logo. Would it be possible to try different colours and possibly make the PD above the 'Pear Drop' a bit 'thinner' please?
    • Thanks for your reply. We have updated Logo designs according to your feedback, please check & send us your comments. Our new entry is #35.

  • Hi, thank you for your entry. Another good way to use the letters to create a logo. The first half of the sweet looks like a Q more than a P, the second half of the sweet does look good.
    • Thanks for your feedback, How I said before : "Both are the same, but the #12 keeps the form of the letters to be related directly with the text name, while the #14 keeps the order of the letters in the name but lose the relation with the text name and I think that the letters that form the candy can be confused with q and b." Please take a look at my new concept designs. Your feedback will be appreciated. KIND REGARDS [ JOBZ ]

  • Thank you for your entry, but you have spelt the 'Occasions' wrong again. Apart from that it's looks very nice, we would however prefer a white background.
    • I'm sorry I made mistake in writing again! Tnx for your feedback.I'll try with a white background! Best regards!

    • We appreciate your corrections, thank you :-)

  • Hi, thank you for your entry. The comment I made about your previous entry applies here also. Thank you
  • Hi, thank you for your entry. It is not what we are looking for. We appreciate the time and effort you have put into the design. Thank you.
  • Hi, thank you for your entry. We like how you used the letters as we requested. We do feel ,in our opinion that it doesn't look quite right with the emblem hanging over the letters like that.
  • Hello, thank you for your entry. We agree with what you said about the logo. Great job, would it be possible to try different colours please?
  • Hi, thank you for your new entry. Another fantastic design by yourself yet again. We do prefer #5 though.
  • Thank you adjusting the colours for us,we appreciate the work you have put into this logo. It's not what we are looking for, but thank you anyhow.
  • Hello there, thanks for your entry. We do like it, but you have spelt 'Occasions' wrong again.
  • Hi, could we please ask, to see what the Occasions writing would look like in black please? Also instead of grey, could we see if purple and silver/metallic would look like on the second logo in the top, and a font like #18 or similar, that clearly shows Pear Drop, if you wouldn't mind please? Many many many thanks

About #16 Hi, I would like to tell you a little bit about my design. The candy that I made, is made from a "p" and a "d", which are melted together in the pink shape. The blue shapes are just to complete the candy. The font that I used is playful, but professional. Colors and font can be changed. Regards, Berdine
  • Hi, thank you for your entry. It's not what we are looking for, to us it feels a little bit too basic, looking for something a bit more 'standout' in the logo . I can kind of see what you are trying to achieve...I think.Hope we didn't offend. It's not our intention, we just like to give honest feedback to everybody that enters. Best wishes

Thank you for your feedback. I'm not offended, do not worry! I will try to make something new. Kind regards, Berdine

  • Hello Jose Pereira, please take a look at my first design #12 and #14. Both are the same, but the #12 keeps the form of the letters to be related directly with the text name, while the #14 keeps the order of the letters in the name but lose the relation with the text name and I think that the letters that form the candy can be confused with q and b. If you want any change in color or shape, please let me know Any feedback would be helpful KIND REGARDS [ JOBZ ]
  • Hello again, this is much clearer than the previous ones you have kindly designed for us. We appreciate you taking in our feedback and the hard work and thought put into it this updates design.
    • You're welcome. I wonder if you has a predilected style for the logo, or aren't you clear what logo style you want (icon, wordmark...). Because if you are attracted in one style in specific, please let me know and I work in that direction. KIND REGARDS [ JOBZ ]
