PKIDS

This was a really easy and fun way to get our logo made! So many of the designs were amazing - we had a difficult time choosing the winner. The artists were also extremely responsive to feedback and suggestions. I can't imaging getting a logo designed any other way, and I definitely recommend designcontest.com to anyone who needs this service!

Project description

PKIDS (Pediatric Kidney Injury and Disease Stewardship) Program is a multi-disciplinary program being initiated at Children's Hospital Colorado to improve the health and care of children with kidney injury. We would like to use the logo for branding on our letterhead, powerpoint presentations, and perhaps gear (i.e. fleece). We had initially drummed up an idea in which the 'D' in PKIDS would be a kidney that looks like a 'D'. Obviously, we defer these designs to the experts! This is a children's hospital program, so feel free to be a little playful, but this is also academic, so not too crazy.

  • This is a second version with a different text arrangement and in which I included the element of the kidney in a subtle yet recognizable in the form of balloons. Two kids, a boy and a girl, holding two balloons. Hope you like it, please rate. #116

  • Hi...
I have revised the design, please check.
    thank you :) #114
  • Just highlight the word "KIDS" :) I think that much fun is acceptable in this logo because ultimately your targets are parents who's child is seriously suffered from kidney disease so they would have been looking at you for "care" not fun. #104
  • Awesome! Thanks for making the font bigger!
Can you make the 'and' an '&' instead? We would like to see what that looks like. #94

  • Love love love this! I especially like that the bottom lines are legible from relatively far away. Great job! #80
    • About #80, @danielle_soranno i m really happy you like it :) thanks again for such a niceeee words :)

  • Hi again, this is one of our favorites for sure! Can you make the bottom two lines any easier to read/bigger? I worry that if this is small (i.e. in the corner of a document or ppt slide) that the "Pediatric Kidney Injury and Disease Stewardship" will be difficult to read. And perhaps less spacing between the P-K-I-D-S (see entry #79) #84
  • Just put kidney icon on the left side, may be you find it more interesting. #88
  • Hi,

As per your design brief I have envisioned this logo.
Tried to convey you message by composing a child hand inside the kidney.

Any comments/suggestions are welcome to improve this design.

    Thanks for your time,
    eshtiyak. #87
