Project description

Hi, Thank you for considering this project. ====================== NOTE: Please avoid using template rowing graphics and random nautical symbols - I can guarantee you that none of these designs will be selected; we are looking for something original that will capture the attention of potential sponsors NOTE 2 - I've uploaded a new image showing the right rowing position of a rower and an interesting logo that I've seen where a wave is merged with a boat in an abstract way (please note that this is not the right boat!) ====================== We are looking for a logo for a team taking part in an ocean crossing. We are looking for originality and creativity. All ideas welcome. . Please find attached a detailed brief for the logo design. Make sure that you review it in detail. Note: This is NOT a sailing event so please don't use sailing graphics Let me know if you have any questions. Best, Matt

  • Hello, my name is Kevin and my entry is based on waves with blue as the main color, I tried to incorporate the design of the boat into the logo so you can actually see it an abstract object. Please give feedback and rating so I can improve it. Thank you.
    • #1 - Thank you for the design but it's too simple. We really don't like the graphical component and the colours. It's really far too simple. I would definitely consider a different font and it would be good for the text to somehow "connect" to the rest of the logo; right now the text and the graphic are completely separate. Also, only one person will be rowing in the boat so in any of the future graphics please only include one rower

  • Hi CH I submitted designs #7 and #8. All your feed back is very helpful. Let me know your thoughts and direction. Thanks
    • Hi, thank you for the design. We don;t like the nautical symbol selected. Also it's very hard to read "Sogno Atlantico" within the logo. I would definitely change the text and try something sore colorful for the design / graphic as a whole. It would be nicer if you could move towards the concept of waves / sea and "Sogno" means dreams so if you want to stay away from the boat design maybe you could try to incorporate these concepts.

    • Thank so much for the valuable insight. I'm on it. Brb

  • Hello Plz check my options #5 & #6 . give me feedback.
    • Hi, I've already sent feedback for these two design. Pasted comments below: #5 and #6 - Hi, the two designs are far too simple and the boat design is very simplistic and it doesn't remind me of the actual boat design. Please note that there will only one rower on the crossing, this should be reflected in the design. The font is not very attractive and I'd choose a different one.

  • GENERAL NOTE: Please avoid using template rowing graphics and random nautical symbols - I can guarantee you that none of these designs will be selected; we are looking for something original that will capture the attention of potential sponsors
  • #9 - The graphical component looks like a random template rowing graphic rather than something original and it has nothing to do with the rowing linked to this crossing. Please review the briefing in detail
  • #10 - Sorry but this design it completely the opposite of what we are looking for. It's far too simple and has no graphical component
  • #11 - Hi, thanks for the design. Unfortunately we really don't like the graphic. Nothing specific, we simply feel that it's not very appealing and that it doesn't fit the theme of adventure of the crossing. Using just blue and grey is also not that great. I'd use a colour that it's more impactful for the secondary colour. Thanks

  • HI CH Sorry for the mistake in last design i uploaded a new design #4 , i hope you like it thanx you
    • #4 - Sorry but we on't like the new design - both the graphic (the boat doesn't look that good)and the text (font). It's too simple and quite "informal" it doesn't really communicate a sense of adventure.

  • #2 - We don't really like it but it's an ok start. We don't like the way in which the waves and the boat "connect" as mentioned we'd like the boat to be somewhat abstract if included in the design. Different fonts should also be considered. I would also stay away from orange as a secondary colour. Purple or red may be better
  • #3 - I really struggle to come up with any constructive comment for your design as it's so far from what I requested. Starting from the fact that I clearly stated that it's NOT a sailing event!
  • Thanks for the design. It's probably the first one where I can see some potential. It would be interesting to see different versions of the graphic: we like the crossed blades and the text is also ok but we don't like the circle that much so it would be good to see an alternative design.
    • Hi, I've submitted a new design, #17, hope it is a step forward from last design!

  • Hi, thanks for the design. It's a bit too simple but it's an ok starting point, we don't like the font, doesn't come across as very professional, we also don't like the way in which it follows the wave. It would be good to see alternative ideas for it.
  • Hi, thanks for the design. Unfortunately we don't really like it: it's far too simple and the triangle reminds us of a sail which has nothing to do with the challenge.
