TIME (a Tuberculosis Modelling Tool)

Ivan followed all the points in the design brief, and came up with a really standout design quite different from other submissions. Due to having a lot of intended uses, we requested him to come up with different versions and replies were always prompt and fully compliant. I Would really recommend Ivan for your work.

Project description

Modelling can be a powerful tool to inform tuberculosis policy discussions on the country level, leading to an improved understanding of the likely epidemiological impact, budget implications of proposed activities, and cost-effectiveness of interventions. In addition, a country specific model can highlight areas in which more or better data is needed to inform rational policy decisions. While modelling can be useful, most countries which carry the highest TB burden often do not have the resources or capacity to develop their own TB model and carry out modelling analysis.

To accommodate this need, the TIME model was developed by the global TB Modelling and Analysis Consortium (www.tb-mac.org) in collaboration with Avenir Health (www.Avenirhealth.org). TIME consists of a set of linked user-friendly country-level modelling tools that cover estimation of a coTB/HIV burden, estimating epidemiological trends and impact as well as costs implications.
