Project description

WHERE THE LIGHT GETS IN

The main logo needs to be a banner style for a website and t-shirt printing. We will also need a modified version in square format for social media and online store items.

What is Where the Light Gets In? The collective movement co-created by Bob Sima and Shannon Plummer. It is loosely based on the Rumi quote, "The wound is the place where the Light enters you."

Nothing fuels change more than music, which is one pillar of their movement. Bob is an award winning singer-songwriter, lyricist, guitarist, and musical mystic.

The complementary pillar is shamanic healing to support individual healing that fuels the collective transformation. Shannon is a shamanic practitioner, life coach, singer, writer, and speaker.

Bob opens people's hearts and Shannon crawls inside. Songwriting meets shamanism.

Bob and Shannon are a powerhouse duo who share the soundtrack for humanity's shift. One person, one audience at a time, their work is stitching the fabric of a new world. A world where life is treasured, savored, and valued, and where love is the currency. Their concerts are transcendent. Their workshop experiences are profoundly healing. Their retreats are paradigm busters. No one departs unaffected. Shannon weaves magical shamanic journeys while Bob works magic on vintage acoustic guitars. Palo Santo fragrance dances among the mystical words of the songs while listeners' souls softly open and shift. Every song, every journey, every message is placed perfectly at the doorway allowing anyone to enter their own personal sanctuary for the transformation to begin.

This logo needs to capture the essence of music, love, light, and shamanism. This logo will capture the complete healing journey we offer on many different levels of participation. We are combining multiple websites into one complete picture of our individual and collective offerings. Where the Light Gets In will include 5 different levels of events: (1) concerts for large audiences, (2) music meditations for those who want to experience the music in a more contemplative program, (3) workshops that are designed for internal work that will break paradigms within a medium-sized group setting, (4) weekend retreats that encourage deeply transformational moments for individuals within a small group, and (5) individual one-on-one coaching and shamanic healing sessions for those who wish to release patterns and redefine their creative path forward.

We want the logo to visually connect the emotions of transformation and healing that happens when we surrender to those challenging moments in our lives, commit to the inner work that must be done to work through those moments, and break through to the other side of the moment with gratitude and a drive to serve humanity with more compassion and love.

WHERE THE LIGHT GETS IN should be written in sentence form, straight across the banner image, with the elements woven in creatively with and around the words. LIGHT is a key word in the name. A guitar and a dream catcher would be great additions to the feel. This needs to look like an experiential movement, not a corporate business. And the logo must look good as either a solid black or solid white 'slug'
