Winning design #32 by PaintedPony, Logo Design for Wysteria Farm Contest
Gold Medal

Project description

Dressage and sporthorse breeding farm. Logo will be used on signs, clothing and horse items, business cards and stationary, website and social media. I would like something that will be fairly easy to embroider. Some suggestions: Maybe incorporate a dressage horse or mare and foal and simple wisteria image. I like line drawn images. Looking for elegant, but not too fancy. Like the colors black, burgundy and silver. But maybe need something else because of the purple wisteria. Open to ideas. Thanks!!

  • Dear gwitaszek Please have a look on Entry #3 Design can be modified according to you. Regards Umair
    • I'm sorry, but this is better suited for jumping horses. Thanks for trying!

  • About #1 I like this. Love the wisteria, but the horse is a little too heavy. Reminds me of a draft horse.

Dear gwitaszek, I'm going to work on that right now. Thank you for the feedback. Regards, Berdine de Gier

    • About #8 This horse is much better, but still not quite right...needs to have more of a dressage horse look. This looks like an Arabian horse to me. But I like the way it's drawn. I also like how the horse head was coming out of the wisteria on #1...this one it's laying across the horse. I'm also thinking the lettering may be too small. I don't think it would embroider well. Thoughts? Thank you for your efforts!

  • Hi gwitaszek! I upload my design. What do you mean?
    • I'm sorry, but that's a racehorse...not what I'm looking for. Looks nice though. Thank you

    • Thanks for the answer! Which horse do you mean? Which horsestyle? What should i do?

  • Hi gwitaszek~ I created a couple logos for your consideration that feature a dressage horse with fluid lines and braided mane. I incorporated stylized wysteria into the type treatment. Hope you like the concept: #14 and #15 Kind regards, PaintedPony
    • About #14 and #15 I really like both of these...thank you!!

    • Hi there~ Thanks for the feedback - I'm glad you like the logos. I modified a little to add a horse's head to see if you like: #32 Thanks so much, PaintedPony

    • Wow!! I really like #32...Is there any chance of sneaking a foal's head in there too? But, the horse alone may be better. I don't know how much longer we will be breeding...but for now it sure would be nice ;-)

    • Hey~ Thanks for the feedback and ratings. I'm glad you like the logo. :) I did a few different layout options to include a foal's head to see if you like: #35 #36 #37 #38 Thanks so much, PaintedPony

    • These are great!! Thank you!

    • congrats.. sure win paintedpony. nice contest here i enjoyed it! :-)

  • #18 Very nice!! Thank you
    • Thanks for the quick feedback! :) I will add in some eyes and update soon.

  • Very nice, but I think they need eyes...
  • About #7 I love this horse! And the use of wisteria...But it seems a little disconnected to me. I like each element separately, but they are not working together. Is there a way to integrate the horse with the lettering better? And I'm not liking the colors. I know I told you what I like, but it's not working with wisteria. I think purple has to be used somehow. Thank you!!
    • Thank for the feedback about my first logo, I have submitted one, #13, that incorporates all the aspects a little better. Thanks

    • About #13 Thank you for trying again! I really do LOVE this horse! But something is still not quite right for me. I don't know if maybe the horse should be big with smaller lettering or vice versa. They seem too closely matched to me. And I don't like the colors at all. The burgundy is not working with the purple, and the purple is too pinkish. I've never done anything like this before...sorry if I'm being too picky.

  • Hi Gwitaszek! I upload my design with another horse! What do you mean?
  • BdG
Dear Gwitaszek, I would love to hear your opinion on #8. I kept in mind that the logo has to be easy to embroider, which it is with this design. It's clean, modern and simple, but I also think it's very elegant and tasteful. Kind regards, Berdine de Gier

  • Hi there, My first entries are #9 and #10. #10 is just a simplified #9 to show you it in silver and metallic purple, but it could be embroidered too. I can try different colours for you, although burgandy won't really go with the wysteria colour as you have already mentioned in your brief. Kind regards, Liz
    • Oh boy!! Very nice!! Now I'm really torn between the more simple versions and your more artistic approach...Thank you!!

    • Thanks for your feedback, I have entered a simpler design for you too #11. With the wysteria as the horses mane. Cheers, Liz : )

  • About #6 I think this is too whimsical for me...looking for something a little more classic. Thank you!!
  • About #4 and #5 I'm sorry, but this is not the right direction for me. It reminds me of a patch or badge. And not the right style for the horse. Thank you!
  • halloo... CH... Please check my entri # 22, Any feedback will be helpful. Thanks
    • Very nice, but I don't think I want anything with a rider. Thank you!!

  • Hi Gwitaszek, based on the brief, i designed classic and elegant logo using thin lines that will be easy to embroider. Please let me know what do you think about it. thanks.
    • Thank you for your entry...but it has a western ranch feel to me, so not what I'm looking for. Very nice though!

  • Hi CH, Here's my approach. Check #29 and #30 any directions and feedback is appreciated. Good luck. :-)
    • Hi there! Very creative, but the horse is a little too "wild pony" looking for me. Thank you!!

  • Here's my last Minute submission. #52. Thank you for the feedback on my previous designs. Good luck. :-)
  • hallo... CH... I tried to make my design revisions, Please check my entri # 45, thanks
  • Hi CH...I have submitted my first entry with two variations #34 and #33. Your feedback will be helpful. Thanks!
