Creating a poster for a scientific conference
designed by c.cls
This project involves the design of an attractive poster for a scientific conference that will be held in Montreal, Canada in December 2019. The following informations need to be integrated in the poster:
XXVI Congrès SOFPEL
Société Francophone Posture Équlibre Locomotion
Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal
4 et 5 décembre 2019
L’art de se déplacer dans la ville…
The theme of the conference will focus on the postural, balance, and locomotion (walking or wheelchair propulsion) challenges encountered when moving in the community. The targeted audience is clinicians and scientists working with poeple who have postural, balance, and locomotion problems. As an example, the poster could integrate few people (e.g., elderly with a cane, a wheelchair user, and possibly a ‘healthy’ parent with a kid, possibly a runner) overlooking a 2D painting or 3D model of the city of Montreal in an exhibition. Any other idea that would integrate poeple with balance and locomotion challenges within the community is also welcomed.
The model of the city needs to integrate some of these Montreal features:
· Montreal Art Museum (‘Musée des Beaux-Arts Montreal’ needs to be prominent since this is where the meeting will be held: https://www.mbam.qc.ca/)
· Jacques Cartier Bridge leading to downtown Montreal with the clock tower in the old port
· Montreal Biosphere and La Ronde on the islands underneath the bridge
· Olympic Stadium
· St-Joseph Oratory sitting on the Mont-Royal
· Habitat Expo 67
· Various downtown buildings (ex: place ville-marie and downtown area)
· Possibility also integrate few cars, taxis, and buses and a subway sign and entrance on a street
If possible, since the congress will be held from the first time outside of France, Belgium and Swisszerland, maybe this can be integrated to some extent in the model (ex: maybe airplane landing at the airport?).
A blank area at the bottom of the poster will be needed to insert the logos of the key partners/sponsors.

Photoshop or Illustrator files in high resolution as well as jpeg and pdf files are to be provided at the end.
Few ideas are provided in the attached document.
