Project description

Dear designers,

We are looking for a new web design for our SaaS, called Grant Folio.

Grant Folio is a strong product for academic institutions, and is used to structure the complex task of accepting and processing research funding applications.

The product is solid and has been brought to market. Visual improvements to the actual product is in the near pipeline, as well as a lot of marketing material - everything from newsletters to business cards. So for the right designer there is a lot more work to be won over the next months.

But to start with, the website is the project at hand:

Status Quo

This is the current website:

Architecture

We have prepared a loose brief, in which the current texts have been worked over and placed in a one-page overview. We are looking for a one-page, parrallax design. The orchestration of the content has been thought over, but you can challenge it.

Tech

The design should take its point of departure in a well-suited Wordpress template that lives up to modern standards (e.g. Responsiveness, subtle and clean javascript, etc.) This means that your creative efforts should go into making tweaks and detailing at a high level. See also Identity.

As inspiration, we found this theme that we like (It is not a Wordpress theme, however):

Images / Media

We are currently having an infographic film made, which should of course be prominently placed on the website.

We are also open to the use of non-tacky stock photos, if you know where to find good ones without licenses attached.

Visually, we would like it "light and breezy".

Identity

Creating a full visual identity is of course out of scope for this project. But we would like you to lay out a direction for where the work should go from here. You can choose to put effort into reworking our logo, do a design manual or a completely different thing. We leave it up to you to impress us :)

We are open to being challenged by a creative soul, who can help us kick off the journey of creating Grant Folio’s visual identity in the long run.

Best,

The Grant Folio Team
