Can I get a logo canvas that can be opened with Illustrator 10? I have not visited the forums since last January but I would like to enter a logo contest. I saw where someone asked for a canvas that would work for an older version of Illustrator, but there did not seem to be a reply.
Also, I am wondering if I am still a design team member. I could login but I cannot access the members list.

what do u mean just a blank page? I have illustrator 10.

I should have said template. I downloaded the template in the updates to contest posting rules (http://www.designcon...com/canvas.zip). When I tried to open it with Illustrator 10, I got a message that I couldn't open it because it was made with a newer version of Illustrator.

As a matter of fact, there will be a thread dedicated to this soon. Look for it in the announcements section. You'll be able to download the template in JPG format so that you can insert it into virtually any application.

What about design team membership? I am not able to post in contests now and I do not want to apply for membership again. Also, I can't find any new rules about being blocked if you don't post for a certain length of time.

There is also no express guarantee that joining the team and being away won't result in a removal, so that could work either way. Since we value participation on the part of all designers, it's not unreasonable assume that you could be removed from the team if you have not participated for a long enough period of time.What about design team membership? Unfortunately, now that you have been removed, you will need to re-apply.
