Let's say I need to draw a horse and I am not quite sure about how to do it, then I follow a tutorial I found online and I draw the horse, I am not talking about just taking the finished drawing from the site but actually following the tutorial and draw my own horse. The final product would end up looking like the one published in the tutorial (hopefully). Would that be a valid thing to do?. What would be the right way to go about this?

Thanks in advance.
