Hi all!

I'm thinking the initial entry limit of 3 uploads is just a tad to little, anybody think bumping it up to 5 would be a better advantage to all beginners at level 1?

Just a thought :)

I think 3 designs is fine - it doesn't take long to move on and you can submit as many as you if the CH likes your designs.

I would be OK with having only 3 now. I wouldn't usually submit more a couple of designs without ratings or at least some positive feedback anyway.

There is also the option of asking the CH to rate your designs too, I have seen many times where they have rated designs over 30 so that the designer can have more entries.

I think it's good that the CH can choose whether they want to see more from a designer and the vetting process is important.

This is mostly done for quality control (although not always the most effective method). In a way you have to prove that your designs meet the standards of DC. As GJRDesign said, it doesn't take long to move up levels... it looks like you are now at level 3 so now you have 7 entries :)

no 3 entries are perfect .... if you are a REAL designer .. you just need one entry to make difference if you've worked fine

I suppose it prevents new users uploading a whole host of average designs and encourages perfection. I agree with the system on this one.
