Hello everyone. I'm wondering about the designer levels. I've read the FAQs but I'm curious- how many contests did you guys enter before moving up a level?
And is there any advice you could offer? The limited submissions in level one and frustrating. Is there a limit in the next levels as well?

ALSO: Poll- who's your favorite graphic designer?

Thanks everyone!

Hi again McLiz.

You get some points for posting here at the forum so that will help.

If your design remains till the end of the Snowman contest you will get more submissions.

It's a bit frustrating as a new user but it doesn't take long to get all the submissions you need.

TBH, I have unlimited submissions now but I will rarely submit more than a couple of designs before getting some feedback and a decent rating. The key is to submit a single design that you are really happy with and if that goes down well then you'll get another submission, if not try another style. 3 should be enough, if not move on to another contest. That is how I work anyway :)

And Of course my favourite graphic designer is McLiz :D

I am at Level 4 and I need 1000 point 10 forum post and one medal to move to the next level. So I have 1112 points, got one bronze medal and I have 11 forum post but still in level 4. Whats happening?

Looks like you are at level 5 now :) Sometimes the levels don't update immediately; you may have to log off then log back in again to see the change

Thank you for the encouraging response. :) It's all a little overwhelming trying to sift through info figuring this out! I've never looked through any kind of a forum before but this one is amazing!! Thank you again!!

If you keep participating in contests you will notice that reaching the first 4 or 5 levels can happen fairly quickly. After level 3 you will find that you have more than enough submission attempts in order to show the contest holder what you can offer. Continue to participate :o

Favorite designer? hmm way too many to name!
