I've noticed that when there are more than 2 designers that should receive silver or bronze medals, those medals are not automatically awarded (they need to be manually given). I don't know if that is done purposely or that is something that will be fixed on the new site

This is what happens 
When a contestholder rates many designs the same rating as this client did, rated many "89 points" then this locks out the auto pick silver and bronze medals, the program doesn't know how to pick the the silver and bronze.....the programs allows two silver and two bronze from different designers and can't be the same as the winner
In the case above the client rated the winner and several of the winners entries the same and several other designers the same so what I do is go and add up rated points and read the comments ect to figure out a 2nd and 3rd place if a contest has been reported with no silver and bronze

Thank you for the detailed explanation
I read in your help pages that the CH chooses only the winner,
while the silver and bronze medals are picked automatically according to the rating points.
In this particular contest I noticed that something went wrong, so I wanted to inform you about it.

What if no designs were rated and the ch came in and chose a design as winner?

lol - I was rated 90 points - the same as Routh and Fondrakes - I should have got silver and now it's bronze?
