contest finalization situation

dear admin,

Contest finalization has been closed by CH, and the page to finances menu has been displayed, but I haven't received it with the balance still $0;

is this situation because the contest paid out three winners so i have to wait for the others to close?

if that's the case i can understand it and be patient,

and the rules or statements in the help question don't fully explain my situation...

if you see my finalization page view there written like this:

Congratulations the contest is now closed!

Thank you for your work!

Your funds are now available for withdrawal under the Finances Menu

if you look at the contest, it's still in finalization, I think the others haven't finished yet, when all the winners finish, then it's closed.

yes, you're right, but something is wrong here! . KB is clear about that: (the keyword is: "closed"). Maybe the congratulations message is the one that sets the confusion in this multi-winner situation.

I think devs need to change that to quite a clear message for the multi-winner situation. instead of pulling one standardized message for all finalization cases.

yes multi-winner situation is an exception they need to display an explanatory (status) message (a) / (in-between the 2 stages: "CH approval of files", and "contest Closure") like:

"Congratulations, CH has approved your final files.

As this is a multi-winner situation,

you will need to wait for the other winners to submit their final files, once CH approves them,

we will send you notification about your funds."

when CH approves all winners' final files, the contest is closed, and winners get a message (b) :

"Congratulations the contest is now closed!

Thank you for your work!

Your funds are now available for withdrawal under your Finances Menu"

now you might wonder what could happen if one or more winners -in a multi-winner situation- failed to deliver final files!

well, hopefully this -as rare as it is- won't happen to you, but there is an answer to that too!
