Definition of copy

What is definition of " copy" ? and whether "similar" or "" a few modifications " in mentioning also copies ?
Suppose you take the clip art and copy it only changes the color of one part of the Design violations.
And mimic the concept of others in imitation of the design contest or who has been outstanding and has become a right of user.
So please work good luck,....

I wondered, how do you know when someone is using a clipart, because there are thousand of them ...
Is there a red light alarm ringing in your office or what ?
There are so many young/rooky designers who actually think that they'll copy something from stock photos or clipart and will never get caught, but thei're wrong. I've been working in graphic industry for a couple of years and meanwhile looked through so many stock photos and seen so many logos that I can somehow tell at the very first look if that's clipart or not. And I'm not the only one of course. You just kind of get used to that after a while you've been working with all this.

I have been doing this for years... OLD ME <
I have seen lots of clipart... and some how even at my old age I can recall clipart I have seen in the past....
