Do I deserve this copying infraction?

I received a copy infraction, and I'd like to know your opinions. Because it really hurts! And I really just need to know if I did copied.
The CH in Logo Amur Tiger Fund said: “So far I really like the ideas behind #340 , #204 and #94 .
Please try to elaborate in this direction.”

So I designed a combination of the three; I designed a DIFFERNT partial face in a FULL map with black lines only: http://www.designcon...-fund/entry/351

Then I got this message: “You have received an infraction at Designers Community Forum at DesignContest.com. Reason: please be original, your entries are copies of entries 340”

My 4 designs was deleted as one result!

Hi Fero. Designers ideas and concepts are protected so when you say "So I designed a combination of the three" - this is not original but a copy of all 3.

If the 3 designs did not exist you could not have created your logo which is why the community saw this as a copy.

The fact that you've posted here shows that you care and that you did not intent to make a copy which is a good thing

Sach may well have that competition won - the only way someone else will win is to create something completely different that the CH likes better so my advice is for you to focus on creating something they haven't seen before.

Thanks GJR. I agree with you. In fact, and after thinking about the idea, i can see it was an improvement, as I think, of Sach's idea.

Yes I do care and I didn't intent to copy nor to combine, but I tried to look at it as a combination rather than a copy. Maybe, using a different technic made it different to me.
