Overall I think this ain't bad for just 3 hours. I just have a few comments though:
In reference to the clouds, I think you need to give a little more credit to the artist who drew this in terms of letting him/her decide the composition. If he/she wanted clouds in the background as an important aspect of the drawing there would have been an outline there for them. If I were to color this, for example, I would probably insert very vague cloud indentations, because they aren't important to the piece according to the sketcher and inker. Same thing goes for the blue blasts you've added, they may look cool, but can you imagine if someone went up to the mona lisa and painted a hat ontop of her head?
As well, just as a side note (from an artistic perspective), any composition you draw will look more real if its style is consistent. So if you are coloring a line drawing and dont want to stick to the lines I would suggest just getting rid of them all together, it will look more convincing to the eye that way.
Again, I'm not ragging on your art, it looks good, but those are just some of the thoughts I have about this piece.

yea when you added the blue plasma stuff, its obviously really bright. and you have a great contrast going on there, but almost too great. if those blasts of light are so bright, why can't i see a tinting of that same blue on his suit or anything he is close to. seems like his suit is somewhat of a reflective material yet only reflects the enviornment around him minus the blue.
